Jon stares at the text on his phone in awe. 

Jon Kent: YOU DID WHAT?

Damian Wayne: You read it. Come at once. 

Jon Kent: i dunno ur dad dont want us supers in gotham

Damian Wayne: he will not hear about it. Just come already. 

Jon Kent: ur punking me arent u

Damian: Kent. Now. 

Jon stares at his phone for a few more seconds. Part of him still believes Damian is messing with him. He would whole-heartdly believe it if he didn’t know Damian never lies.  Not to Jon, at least. He puts on his uniform and airly lets Conner know where he’s going, promptly ignoring when his brother mumbles something about being murdered by bats. 

Thus Jon flies towards Gotham. It only takes him a couple of minutes and he’s able to pick Damian’s heartbeat fairly fast as soon as he enters the polluted atmosphere. Jon shivers, and not because of the cold - although it snowed earliar, so that’s also a factor - but because it sometimes feels like Gotham has its own miasma. The things he does for Damian...

He flies as the familiar heartbeat grows closer and closer and he finds himself hovering over a park. He sees a familiar face near a swingset and, by his side, two of his brothers. Tim and Jason.

“No way,” Jon mutters to himself right before he lands. “Oh my God, Damian!”

From where he is, Damian glares daggers at him. However, even Damian Wayne can’t look too threatening while his tongue is stuck to a swingset. 

“Boo, I can’t believe you called your boyfriend for help,” Tim complains.

Jason mumbles an agreement. Jon quirks an eyebrow at them, but decides not to point out that Damian doesn’t seem to have another option. Especially because both Tim and  Jason have their phones out and are taking lots of pictures instead of helping their brother.

“He huiet, Hhake!” Damian barks. 

Jon sighs. “Hang on, I’ll use my heat vision to melt the ice. Don’t move, I don’t want to hurt you. But just... How, Damian?”

“Hodd hared ‘e.” Damian mumbles. He has the decency to look a bit embarrassed.

“I did not dare you,” Jason says. “I dared Tim to lick the swingset. Tim said no, you called him a coward. Tim said ‘Damian, don’t lick the swingset’ and you said ‘Don’t tell me what to do’ and licked the swingset.”

Jon gives his boyfriend an unimpressed look. Damian’s tan skin goes a shade darker. “You’re so lucky you’re cute,” he mumbles.

Anyways this will barely make sense but Conner -> Tim / Robin -> Superboy is sort of supposed to be like the early timkon dynamic in the comics where they’d sometimes butt heads, but then the Tim -> Conner/Superboy-> Robin is supposed to be like later timkon where there’s more obvious admiration lololol
