Random bird nonsense:

Black vultures are occassionally seen allopreening crested caracaras. Black vultures sometimes preen caracaras but caracaras have never been observed preening vultures; caracaras often bully vultures and steal carrion from them. The reason for the one-sided preening is that caracaras sometimes bob their heads down in a way that's similar to the motion black vultures make to invite preening. The black vultures instinctively start preening the caracara out of instinct. It does not seem to be intentional on the caracaras part and isn't a common occurrence, but it does happen.
