heyo welcome to Tumblr 🔥 first tip: you can make your Likes and Following private, if you'd like some privacy on that end. it's under Blog Settings on your blog second tip: go to Settings -> Dashboard and activate "Show timestamps on posts, reblogs, and notes." so you can see when posts were made (it's funny when you see stuff from 2014 circling around, plus it adds context). honestly, mess around with hose Dashboard settings as you please; you can deactivate everything under Preferences and have only the blogs you follow appear on your dash, get a funky color palette, up to you and finally, Reblogs are what counts if you want to help spread someone's blog/work around. Likes are almost worthless towards this goal (though they're still nice to get), since the algorithm is not the main way posts make their way into your dash - the Reblogs are! so be sure to reblog posts you enjoy if you want to show some love also, no idea what's happening with those fake notes you mentioned on your post. that's scary
