“clumsy running”

(i said i would write a fic about it, it probably derailed slightly and look at this post for context )

Robin felt the cold upside down air enter her lungs with every hasty breath. There was a considerable lack of oxygen in it. They had been so careful, but had still got separated from Eddie and Steve. And now they were too loud. And those bat looking creatures and demidog were chasing them.

Her heart feels like it is going to jump out of her chest. She can make out Nancy’s figure in front of her even in the extreme darkness of the upside down. 

The forest they are running in is hard to navigate, random branches and vines often getting in the way. She stumbled a bit ever so often which led to Nancy’s figure growing ever so slightly smaller. Nancy seemed to be better at navigating the upside down, not stumbling nearly as often as Robin.

Ronance stuff

Nancy is 100% the jealous and possessive type, but Robin is pretty oblivious to it

And while she’s on amazing terms with Steve, they’re both slightly competitive over robin’s attention and affections

Robin is a great girlfriend and a great best friend and spends an equal amount of time with the both of them

Nancy oftentimes visits Robin and steve at family video, bringing them snacks and drinks to hang out

On especially slow days, Robin and Nancy sneak into the back to watch bad sitcoms or cheesy movies, as they’re usually too busy doing other things to pay attention to the tv anyway

Robin is equally gifted in instruments and music as she is in languages, and often tries to woo Nancy through music

As unconventional and weird as ever, Robin tries to impress Nancy with her skills in the French horn instead of something like a guitar

Pet names!!! These two definitely use pet names for each other

Robin to Nancy: babe, doll, angel

Nancy to robin: love, sweetheart, darling

Despite often wearing skirts, Nancy definitely wears the pants in the relationship

Nancy calls robin “my girl” and it makes robin absolutely melt into a gooey puddle

Nancy also loves to call Robin handsome

These two are so touchy with each other when they’re alone like

Robin normally hates having her face touched, but her eyes always flutter close and she leans into nancy’s hands when Nancy caresses her face

And Nancy loves to touch robin all over!! Despite her tall and lanky frame, robin is just so soft and excuses warmth like a furnace

Nancy likes to play with robin’s hair, and make little braids in them

And when they’re not alone, they still touch each other unconsciously, a hand on the shoulder, fingers brushing against each other, leaning into the other to get a closer look at something, knees touching when they’re sitting by each other etc.

Robins hands are soft, except for the pads of her fingers where she plays her instruments, and Nancy loves to play with robin’s fingers and kiss her knuckles

Robin wears a lot of rings and Nancy likes to steal robin’s rings to wear herself, but because robin has larger fingers, Nancy normally wears the rings on her thumbs

Nancy always steals robin’s clothes, especially her jackets and t shirts that picture robin’s favorite movies and bands

The nightmares still come for Nancy sometimes, and Robin can’t be there for her every night, but being wrapped in one of robin’s stolen jackets or shirts will always bring comfort to Nancy

Stuff like that “Disney announces first gay character!!” post really make me realise what a happy oblivious queer lit bubble I live in lmao. Every day I read and read about stories with multiple queer characters in a variety of genres and narratives, there is a VERITABLE FEAST happening over here and big companies are throwing press conferences to announce they’re handing out a single crust of bread

Kids are putting Drano, tin foil, and a little water in plastic drink bottles and capping it up - leaving it on lawns, in mail boxes, in gardens, on driveways etc. just waiting for you to pick it up intending to put it in the rubbish, but you’ll never make it!!!

If the bottle is picked up, and the bottle is shaken even just a little - in about 30 seconds or less it builds up enough gas which then explodes with enough force to remove some your extremities. The liquid that comes out is boiling hot as well. Don’t pick up any plastic bottles that may be lying in your yards or in the gutter, etc. Pay attention to this. A plastic bottle with a cap. A little Drano. A little water. A small piece of foil. Disturb it by moving it; and BOOM!! No fingers left and other serious effects to your face, eyes, etc. Please ensure that everyone that may not have email access are also informed of this.
