Photos from Book
Book: https://kristujayanti.edu.in/media_room/pdf/pixel-Vol5-Issue2.pdf
This photo has excellent colours and the pillars create an interesting leading line. The contrast between the color of the pillar and the dark backdrop looks good.
This is a very interesting portrait. The details on the lady have come out very well and the lack of colors increases the attention paid to the them.

The lighthouse is positioned on one of the intersections of the gridlines, the small road leading to it looks good too. The motion blur of the sky increases the appeal of the image.
The repeating pattern of the trees and the lack of distracting colors and elements makes the image very aesthetically pleasing.

We visited Thol bird sanctuary. I tried to capture shots interesting to me. The images below are the edited results of the same.

Shallow foreground DoF Portrait in class
I had a lot of trouble wrapping my head around this the first time I tried this in a class. The shots are all not very good.

All of these were captured on manual mode. To achieve this effect I increased the aperture to the maximum possible value.

Martine Franck
France, 1965 The spiral leading line and people arranged on them looks beautiful.
France, 1976
The pattern of four lines shines brightly against the dark background and makes the image look good.
Ireland, 2000
This is a freeze shot taken just after a wave crashes into a rock. Against the backdrop of clouds, it looks like another cloud. The color contrast between the waves and the rocks adds to the aesthetic beauty.
Italy, 1971
The image has shallow depth of field and the repetition of the same bird along with a pattern breaking - different color and a dog at one end gives the image. It also follows rule of thirds - a third of the image is sky, then the backdrop of mountains and then the animals.
Ireland, 1996
Rule of thirds - sky+lake, then standing rocks and then sleeping rocks. The pattern-like behaviour of the rocks' surface makes it look beautiful.

Editing
We spent some time learning how to use common features to edit an image.
Here, I have straightened the image, changed the temperature, added vignette and slight grain to the image.
