I had a happy and quiet life before until the 7th October. I majored finance and banking after graduating from university. I was working in managing a specialized dental center in Al Remal neighborhood. However, when the attacks on Al shifa hospital started , my family and I were forced to flee our home in search of safety and basic needs such as shelter, food, water, medicine and a mixture of children born at the beginning of the war . We lost our homes and lost our jobs. And even caused me to get lost with my husband until now I don't know where he is.

It pains my heart that my beloved city Gaza has turned into an apocalyptic ghost city where innocent people, children and adults, are indiscriminately killed daily. During this harrowing journey, we faced extreme hunger and malnutrition that almost claimed the lives of me and my children. In addition, we have been exposed to many serious infectious diseases and epidemics.

Unbearable hardships

Every day I have to travel long distances just to get water, and stand in lines for hours to get food. My children's mental health deteriorated due to the war, their education was interrupted, and they suffered from catastrophic hunger that almost claimed their lives.

The right to a peaceful life
