For it's toxic, heavy, relentless pain,

Will just overwhelm me time and again.

I need to be held, to be understood,

To be at peace, just to recover,

But the harder I try the harder it smothers.

At first I felt heavy and hollow, like a robot just going through the motions. But now it's more like I'm a skeleton and the air is toxic and it's dissolving my bones every move I make.
