This is my little cousin, Katie. This was sent to me at a time I needed it the most. It brought me to tears. My cousin, her mom, is the most beautiful, wonderful, strong person. & when I have children I hope I am half as good as a mother as her. She has lost her mother, her brother, her husband, her child, and countless friends to suicide and illnesses. She’s been through hell and back. But she has never given up. Why? Cause her 2 beautiful daughters. Who are amazing, caring children taught right. These girls will grow up to be amazing mothers as well. I’m SO proud to call her my cousin.
February is National Eating Disorder Awareness Month. Spread the word. Let’s help teach all the little girls out there that your weight is NOT your worth. Please re-blog. There are so many young girls on here that need to be taught about not comparing your weight to your happiness.

Story behind this? Her dad was leaving on a 2 year deployment. She was crying, and wouldn’t let go of her dad’s hand, even when he stood in line, saluting. No one had the heart to break them apart.
