The guys at Paus Inc, were forced to leave their space at Dufferin and Queen because of stupid condo developments. I stopped by their new space to help them do a bit of demo and paused to take a couple quick snaps of Christoph in his new space.
Looking forward to seeing the projects they work on in this new, massive space

Haven’t posted in a while, but here’s the latest shoot.  This is Pip. Pip was a conservative church minister at the the age of 21. He followed the regular path expected of him. He married a woman, who was affiliated with the church, and had 2 children. As the years past, Pip and his wife both came out. They went public with the news, knowing full well the church would not approve. Pip was then excommunicated from the church by his Father, who was also a part of the Church. Since then, Pip has re-married, this time to a man. Together they live with his ex-wife and their 2 children. On February 3rd Pip was officially ordained as a priest, this time within the Anglican Church. assistant: @tanvim

A few months ago, I shot some images for Carol at http://www.alignmentrescue.com/. Carol focuses on simple movements/exercises and stretches to get your body back into alignment and functioning the way it was supposed to. Clean Healthy movement. She focuses a lot of attention on foot health and functionality. Carol was so fun to work with and her cats insisted on being in the majority of the shots. Be sure to check out her website to learn more.

Earlier this month I teamed up with the fine folks at Art & Mechanical - http://artandmechanical.com/ - to shoot some images for their client at Hop City Breweries. Art & Mechanical worked on a complete rebrand for them and asked me to shoot some images for their site.  You can view the whole site they put together here: http://www.hopcity.com/ And..well. I’m posting the images here too, soooo here they are. Kev and John are the two brewers (and only employees) behind all beer from hop city breweries. They were kind enough to take some time out of their ultra busy days to let me take a few shots of them and the space. Here's an image of Esther Vetter, for a story I shot for the recent issue of Reader's Digest. Esther was diagnosed with breast cancer when she was 70. Her form of breast cancer was super aggressive was referred to as "triple-negative" making it extremely difficult to treat with usual methods like chemotherapy and radiology. In 2012, her cancer metastasized in her spine where her doctor told her "miss Vetter, you may wake up one morning and not be able to get out of bed." After decided to go through clinical trials of a drug (usually used to treat male prostate cancer) Esther has been able to keep her cancer at a standstill. Pictured here is Esther adjusting her curtains for me as I photographed her living room because they just weren't perfect enough for her. I think you're doing pretty great Esther. As well as a portrait of her taken in her backyard. Thanks to Reader’s Digest for having me out and more specifically Annelise Dekker. Thanks to Adisa Rawi for the assist.

So, as the Majority of you know Raina Kirn and I got married in Nicaragua this past February. Over the course of the 2 week trip, I decided instead of focusing on photos, that I would, for the first time ever, make a video of our wedding week. As I said it was my first time shooting something tangible, and also my first time editing/colouring. (thanks for all the helpful tips Darrin Klimek).
Just wanna say thanks to everyone who was able to make the trip down, you made our wedding unforgettable and we love you all so much. For anyone that wasn't able to make it, hopefully the video can give you a taste of what it was like.
Thanks to Maderas Village, Villas Playa Maderas, Tribal Hotel, Isleta El Espino, and Sea Star Spa & Cabana's for housing us throughout the trip, but specifically Matt Dickinson, Rochelle Lee, Justin Clemons, Allison VanCleave, Bill Quinn and DeWitt Tsunami Noir Foster III for helping make out wedding day absolutely perfect. You guys all went above and beyond and we'll never forget all your efforts and generosity.
Thanks! Tamara Adilman, Sarah White, Max Adilman, Ira Adilman, Biruta Moroz, Marie Gordon, John Gordon, Kevin Gordon, Joan Johnston, Alf Johnston, Elizabeth Weinstein, Sven Boecker, Sara Weinstein, Jason Winters, Ailysh Greenway, Gyasi Bourne, Laurel Swenson, Sara Dent, Ross Charles, Sonnen Sloan, April McNeil, Chris Johnstone, Darrin Klimek, Dolores Salken, Chris Loughren, Petra Fisher, Wilson Barry, Ngaio Potts, Allison Barber, Tracy Cocks, Max Holmesemoff, Krister Holmes, Greg Lanzillotta, and Orin and Rhyan!
We love you all so much and thanks for sharing this special time with us.
This video if for my wife and lifelong partner, Raina Kirn - I love you SO much and I can't wait for all our future adventures together.

Recently I was challenged to post 7 shots for Nature for 7 days straight on my Facebook/Instagram medium. Here are the 7 shots I posted in order. It was quite challenging to go through the archives to find 7 shots that I felt were worth a share. It has definitely taught me that when I’m travelling/walking around/whatever I really should stop to take in my scenery just a little more. Image #1 - Taken in Whistler at the top of Whistler during the Summer of 2014.
Image #2 - Taken somewhere in the Maldives, 2015.
Image #3 - Taken in the Beaches in Toronto, 2015.
Image #4 - Taken on a boardwalk hike along Big Tree Trail, Meares Island BC, 2014.
Image #5 - Taken in my dad’s forest on a foggy morning. Shanick, ON 2013.
Image #6 - Taken in the same forest, but as night was just setting. Shanick, ON. 2014.
Image #7 - Taken under the canopy of the Rainforest. En Route to Tofino, BC. 2014.

Maclean’s Magazine contacted me earlier this month to shoot David Suzuki for their most recent publication. I always looked up to David Suzuki growing up and thought he was a cool dude. I always watched The Nature of Things with my parents growing up and our family always tried to do our own little things for the environment. Always composting, gardening, growing veggies and what not. I took the respect I had for him to create my online gamertag (cool I know) for the online Xbox community as DavidSuzuki. It’s fair to say, my skill online represented him well. Truth be told, I was pretty excited for this one, and super happy I got to meet him and shoot for Maclean’s Magazine. We also did a brief video on set too. So you can view that here:
http://www.macleans.ca/culture/books/my-shakespeare-david-suzuki/ Thanks goes out to Jason Kraus for shooting the video and helping me out there and also to my assistant on the shoot, Brian Rankin.
