sick and tired of seeing these ace trainers brag about their super smart badass level 100 shiny mons.
This is Sol. She is a fucking idiot. She regularly forgets that she is a flying type and sits at the bottom of cabinets n such crying cause she doesn't know how to get up. I would die for her.

Zonai Skyward Sword AU!
Hey, It’s been awhile!
Anyways, I recently replayed SS after being absolutely enamored by Echoes of Wisdom, so I thought I’d doodle a bit more about it :)
It’s tough thinking of comics for this AU, since there’s not a lot of lore surrounding the zonai that’s all that concrete, but I do hope to expand it sometime! I did give some thought to the Loftwings though.
I think it might be cool if they were a little more prehistoric/dinosaur looking, though I tried to keep them as similar to their in game counterparts as I could. I like to think they’re cared for like the Sky Bisons of ATLA, and they get to choose a partner for life as children.
I also love the idea that Link’s loftwing has the same spirit as Epona, and that she has reincarnated with him as his eternally loyal friend. No one knows where the crimson Loftwing came from, only that she appeared to Link one day and never left his side.
It takes a little from the prequel comic to SS, where Hylia’s Loftwing pledged its loyalty to the Hero.

Taking a break from being obsessed with Captain Laserhawk I also got into Angel Hare, the fascinating analogue horror series from The East Patch which taps into nostalgia, forgotten trauma, and the power of television in raising a child. It's SUCH a clever and creative series put together with attention to detail (the mark of quality for any good analogue horror), and Angel Gabriel Gabby is just the purest little bunbun who never did anything wrong in her entire existence.
I had to draw some art of this sweet angel. It's rare to find an analogue horror series that genuinely scares me, but even rarer to find one that made me emotional.
Now if you'll excuse me I need to go listen to Masquerade on loop for about 20 hours.

I recently watched Night Mind's video on Angel Hare and was reminded of this piece I made last month when I first discovered the series!

Do you want an analog series that delves into the effects of childhood media consumption and escapism?
Do you want something with tight writing, engaging characters, and an intriguing story?
Do you want something that's a labor of love and thrives on subversion of expectation?
Check out Angel Hare if you haven't already. The third season just wrapped up, and it's been a delight to watch.
#it's framed as analog horror to start but it's more of a heartwarming-sometimes-unsettling story#highly recommend!!#also great art op i love the merging ears VERY GOOD#angel hare
