In the third instalment of #SKAMSPEAK I’ll talk about ‘hooke’ and other slang words “Norwegianized” from English to fit our verb structure and conjugation patterns! 

I’m sorry it’s taken me such a long time to update, it’s been in drafts for months..! But I’ve really been looking forward to this one, and I hope you’ll have fun reading about it!

But, first things first: What does this word really mean? If you watched all the seasons of SKAM, or just one of the seasons, or just an episode or two for that matter, I will bet my favourite pair of socks you’ve heard this word a good couple of times. I’d say it’s right there in the Top Ten Most Important Words on SKAM-list! (there’s really no such list, but maybe I’ll make one? :P ) But yes, what does it mean? It means to fool around with someone, i.e making out (heavily), maybe some wandering hands as well…
