Space Pigeon: How have I not had a new Shirley temple in a year? Whatever 🤷 this Shirley temple is pretty damn good regardless of the fact that my mother told the waiter I had an instagram where I judge restaurants based on Shirley temples. While this is mostly true, I can’t tell my mother I have a tumblr or she’ll rip my head off. The bartender put a lime slice in it, which even though I can hardly taste it over the excessive grenadine. Three cherries is nice as hell though! Overall a good 8/10 to come back to this dead blog

Lupita’s Cantina: I’m glad the waiter warned me they didn’t have cherries, and just had the flavoring. That being said, I do not think the base was sprite even though they had coke products, I think it was seltzer??? 4/10, I wouldn’t get again, but I guess it could have been worse. I think the grenadine ratio was good.

PGA Grill: I got this in an airport so my standards are a little less than stellar, but it was actually very nice. The waiter was lovely, the menu was a scan menu where your order goes straight to the kitchen, and I got 3 whole cherries in my drink!! Overall it was pretty good, a humble amount of grenadine, great amount of cherries, I definitely liked it. 8/10!

DIY V: I used lemon lime seltzer for this one because we didn’t have sprite and it kind of sucked. I drank it anyways because no way in hell am I wasting a shirley temple. 4/10

Hawkers: I asked for a shirley temple and the waitress said they didn’t have any, BUT she said she could get me one with cherry juice instead (she warned that it wasn’t sweet). She brought it out very quickly, and when I tried it I swear I heard a chorus of angels. It was a perfect amount of juice to soda, with a black cherry on top, and it was the perfect amount of sweet with the sprite in it. 10/10, absolutely delicious AND unique AND great service.

Twin Peaks: unfortunately a 4.7/10… it’s harsh but yknow. Not enough grenadine, not ONE cherry (and it had a full bar). Something much better could have been done with this and it’s a shame, but that’s the review for now. 😢

Dave & Buster’s: I asked for a shirley temple, I did. And she went mhm like she heard me. Out comes a sprite, and at first I think they forgot my drink. They did not. 0/10, on account of it being not a shirley temple, but just because I like sprite a lot, my rating for taste is like… 3/10. 7 points deducted for not being what I asked for. My official rating is still a 0.

DIY IV: I had this bad boy with mozzarella sticks and ketchup and I think I may have put a little too much grenadine?? But the grenadine (roses) slaps so hard I can’t even complain too much. 6.5/10 (.5 points for the muppets cup)

DIY III: 6.5/10 this is actually the second diy but I posted this after the actual #3 bc I forgot to post it sooo… yea. It did taste a little different and I DID use club soda so that’s prob why ig.. it was still p good tho, I think I’ve been too lenient w a lot of my reviews, considering no Shirley temple has ever gotten below a four, but it’s pretty damn hard to mess up a shirley temple anyways so idk… @madwickedawesome i accidentally messaged u on this blog what do you think do you like Shirley temples would MISCHA BACHINSKI like shirley temples?? I think yes actually

DIY II: I won’t lie I drank half of this before posting it was scrumptious. 7/10 because no cherries and I did in fact eyeball the grenadine. Love it actually I got the 7 up and grenadine from rite aid ❤️❤️

Poco Piatti (2): I didn’t expect to review this, but I ordered it anyways and got SEVEN CHERRIES!! Because of the absolute absurd amount I have to give this by rights a 9.9/10. Also my friend might have gotten 8 cherries and I’m so happy rn

Black Cherry Sparkling Ice: I’m honestly a pretty big fan of sparkling ice flavors, mostly because they actually taste how they’re advertised. I think this is how god intended black cherry flavored drinks to be. 8/10 I had to make a new tag for all my cherry soft drinks I rate. #shirley adjacent yo

Reset: While this didn’t have a cherry, I really appreciated that the server warned me that they might not. For that, less points deducted for having no cherry, because that was super considerate. It’s a pretty good shirley temple, I’d have to give it an 8/10! Yumme
