It's a fromsoft tradition to just completely subvert gender within the soulsborne games. Whilst it wasn't as prevalent in their older titles (Demons Souls didn't have much, Dark Souls 1 had Gwyndolin, Ciaran), Dark Souls 2 onwards gender didn't matter, everyone was doomed by the narrative. (Lucatiel my beloved, you will forever deserve better).

Especially in Bloodborne, which if you've never played then go at least watch a playthrough. Be warned though, it's dark even by fromsoft standards.

i also really love hearing abt other ppl's POV on how the gender in elden ring is handled bc it mercilessly swerves the pathetic expectations we've come to expect in fantasy genre fiction where the roles of men/women are delineated exactly the same as in reality. men can become maidens. you can bifurcate your gender if you are a specific type of divinity and no one really cares (maybe? its not really the transgender part they don't like so much as the shock that you can marry yourself). women are warriors without having to masquerade as men. its neat stuff.

Tips and tricks for Hades 2 (minor spoilers)

Hecate, Odysseus and Skelly have very good keepsakes. Prioritise giving them Nectar first. Moros' keepsake is also good, but doesn't fare well for guardian fights.

The Sorceress Arcana card does not stop time for the Chronos fight, nor can you pause (until you perform an incantation), get used to doing runs without it.

Upgrade Death Defiance arcana card as soon as you can

Casts (at the time of writing) are very, very strong, especially the Zeus and Apollo casts. Couple them with the Demeter cyclone and the apollo cast size boon and you're golden.

The axe is very good on the surface, especially for the (current) final boss there. Plus, spin spin spin spin spin

Chronos tips!

Casts are your best friend - the Zeus cast with the Demeter cyclone is especially effective. Apollo's Solar Ring is also a great alternative, along with his boon that increases cast size.

Selene's Moon Water can and will come in clutch for Chronos

If you haven't already, do the incantation to change keepsakes. Odysseus and Skellys can really help you.

There's a lot going on at all times with Chronos, but have patience, and keep distance for your casts. It helps to avoid his lingering scythe swings.

The phase two insta kills are bs, but if you have enough Demeter boons, she can give you one which makes all damage taken never exceed 15, this includes the one shots.

It takes a while, just don't give up! You can do it! Death to Chronos.
