Naturally, that would be Kairi's immediate response. Sora was her best friend who could not and never failed her. Ever.

Except there was the pineapple incident.

One day, when they were little, Sora's mom made small homemade pineapple juices for Sora, Riku, and Kairi. There was plenty for them to have two each. Maybe Sora wasn't aware that he grabbed Kairi's last juice jug. Little Kairi was sad but eventually, they worked it out and he gave it back.

Regardless of that, this was a good time to tease him about it.

"No, except when you 'stole' my pineapple juice. Remember?" She pretended to look disappointed but clearly she was kidding. Of course, she'd never hold a silly minor incident like that against him.

"I couldn't sleep either," he admitted in an attempt to shoot down Bragi's excuse. "You must be really bored to just up and leave like this." He didn't buy it. Would he rat him out to Master Odin? Likely not. It was just Bragi being himself, even if this time was more than he expected from his friend.

"Huh? How can some coat possibly protect your heart better than armor?? Are you sure your family isn't joking with you?" He eyed the coat again, skeptically. It all sounded like poppycock to him.

Either way, he Bragi made it through the corridor in one piece at least. Eraqus didn't notice anything drastically different about Bragi that would prove his heart to be suddenly tainted.

"This place looks like Scala, don't you think? Actually, it's strange that it's so similar. To live here?" He looked around a bit as he said all this. "I don't know. It would feel like home. Maybe if I had to leave home forever for some reason."

Just as predicted, Eraqus had more than a few questions about the situation, and none of them were really ones that Bragi could avoid answering. He accepted the hand up but made a point of not looking directly at Eraqus as he too brushed himself off, buying time before picking which answers he wanted to give.

"I couldn't sleep." He said bluntly. It was not much of an excuse to explain why he was out world-hopping, but it was the best Bragi could do on short notice. He then waved his hand to the world around them, hoping that the charm and beauty of Radiant Garden would be distracting enough that Eraqus would forget about the rest of his questions.

"This is Radiant Garden." Bragi introduced the world, "It's a really lovely world. I'd like to live here one day." He did snatch his arm away from Eraqus when the other boy pulled on it.

"Careful! This is… It's an old family heirloom!" He came up with an explanation for the coat. "It'll protect my heart just as well as any armor."

The reason Vör didn't say why she wanted to be a keyblade master is that she straight-up didn't know WHY. She didn't have an answer YET.

OR

My other idea is that she felt that she never quite fit in with the other kids completely. So she kept a lot of her thoughts to herself. When it was her turn to explain she laughed it off sort of realizing, "Oh no my turn, I can't say it!"

I'll write this more thoughtfully later.
