I stand by the fact that “you’re not Dylan Thomas I’m not Patti Smith this ain’t the Chelsea Hotel” is one of Taylor’s catchiest, most hipster in a fun way, creative lyrics and it just gets drowned out by everyone’s weird critiques of the rest of the song. And that makes me ill

For anyone who hasn't heard the full story: Just before Black Friday, my Etsy shop, my pride and joy, something I’ve been working on and pouring my heart into for the past 2 years of my life, fell  victim to a ton of false copyright claims from a certain organization who, funnily enough, I think felt threatened by me. The strikes came seemingly coordinated, one at a time, day by day, as I slowly watched my shop fall to pieces: first lower-ranking designs and, going straight down the line of my bestsellers, eventually culminating with the takedown of my beloved Florida!!! shirt, and with it my shop altogether.

I can’t describe what it feels like to have so powerlessly lost and to know my talent and goodwill can’t change it. It killed me a little bit every day for months, and it still does, but the only option left was to admit defeat and rebuild.

They clearly wanted to poach my holiday sales and they got them. But since November, I decided to rebrand, make my OWN website, and come back better than ever. I hope I’ve achieved it.
