“This honey is from that very very exclusive – and elusive – shop that popped up in Covent Garden for one day only, resulting in a queue of people all the way down to the Strand.”

“Yep.”

“And you went there? And you queued? For hours? In the truly abominable weather we had that day? And you paid the surely exorbitant price? To get this? For ... me?”

“Yep.”

“John ... I ...”

“Glad you like it, Sherlock. But the gift isn’t entirely selfless.”

“How so?”

“I expect a tasting session soon.”

“A tasting session?”

Hi! Just wanted to apologise for not being very active this December - I'm struggling with life at the moment... All the more massive thank you to @the-sign-of-tea who very kindly bought me coffee via the link ❤️

Inspired by the brilliant Johnlock fic Where It Is Always 1670 by iwantthatcoat for Fandom Trumps Hate. The fic is a crossover between BBC Sherlock and the Polish Netflix show 1670. If you haven’t watched the latter, do.

I took some slight liberties with the costumes, because Restoration fashion is ... a lot. Of basically everything. And for their journey east, I thought Sherlock and John would wear some more sensible attire than tons and tons of lace and ribbons. Their coats actually look more like early 18th century fashion.

John’s garlic necklace also fits nicely with November’s @sherlockchallenge : Onion

October challenge delay

Hi. As you've probably noticed, some of the recent challenges have been delayed - sadly, the October one will be too. I've not been feeling well recently and of top of that I had to find a new place to stay due to my landlord selling the house... I'm actually moving on the last day of Sept and I already had a few breakdowns, including a massive meltdown last evening when I got overwhelmed by all the packing...

I hope to be able to post in the first week of October - thank you for your patience!
