What's the story behind your OCs? Are they part of the same universe?

They are!! I have a very messy plot outline that centers around my main character, Milo and his very close friend Cedar.

Milo was born in a small town only really known for being a major export of lemons. When he was about 11 or so a plague swept through the town and had him orphaned. He spent about a year on his own before he ran into Cedar.

The two grew up together trying to scavenge any money they could through scamming and stealing and all sorts of stuff.

The place where I’d like my story to begin is Milo & Cedar stealing some sort of plot device expensive magic object, then Milo accidentally losing it while gambling. There’s some sort of messy bar fight over said object which Milo gets away from, but Cedar ends up in a very high security jail.

Milo, who has various connections, finds out where he is and gets himself some expensive fancy clothes and a fake identity as a rich noble’s son. He gets into the ruling king’s estate under the guise of attending a party, but actually he wants to break out Cedar who’s being held on the estate.

While staying here, the servant/maid who cleans his room and checks on him, Callie, immediately knows something is off. She decides to use this against Milo and makes a deal with him, if he can help her escape this awful job, she’ll help him break out his friend.

Her and Milo end up having a situationship, much to the dismay of Cedar, who believed he and Milo were together this whole time.
