Tumblr media Tumblr media
you know the feeling when you make a typo in the group chat and everyone starts repeating the typo again and again for all eternity? that’s what happened the moment wars called wind guppy, and now he’s doomed to be called that forever

So, I JUST found out that ALTTP came out on November 21 and ALBW came out on November 22, so I had a thought
What if Ravio and Legend, as counterparts of each other, both rightfully assume they're the same age, just to find out that because Legend was born just before midnight and Ravio right after, they actually don't share a birthday.
I feel like Legend wouldn't admit it, but he's a bit disappointed. Ravio thinks it's pretty cool since it's further proof of their own independent persons, that is until he realizes it makes Legend, by a technicality, a day older than him.

Chapter 11: 10. Magic exhaustion [Wind and Hyrule] (part 2)
Word count: 1803
First || << Previous || Next (comming soon)
---------------
Part 2 of Wind and Hyrule whump! Technically prompt is about Hyrule's current condition, but it's Wind's POV.
I hope you like it! :D
Also a small PSA:
Currently I am too tired to write one prompt a day, so there's just no way I can finish Febuwhump all in February. It's a bit of a bummer, but I'm not too sad because look at it! This fic has 17k words already! I wrote it! In a month! That's some light speed writing for my standards right there. Hopefully this exercise will help me write my other fics faster, lol
Enjoy! :D
---------------
Wind didn’t remember much from the attack.
He didn’t remember much from the entire afternoon to be honest.
He and Hyrule went together on a foraging trip in the traveler's hostile forest. Wind was curious about the land his fellow hero talked about with such adoration and, according to Hyrule, those forests were not as monster-infested as they used to be a few years back so he didn’t mind Wind following.
The traveller showed him some plants, they slayed a few ropes and found allegedly edible mushrooms, and then…
And then the next thing he could recall through the fog was ringing in his ears and the feeling of someone’s hands on him. He could remember the darkness that worked wonders on the splitting headache he woke up to and the chill of the stone he was kneeling on.
And the words of the man in a floor length robe telling other shifty strangers that they were going to see ‘one life taken to give life to another’.
Wind head was forced down and he saw the dark blotches on the floor beneath him. They were shining with a purplish gleam in the unnatural light barely illuminating the room, but he had no doubt they were truly red.
He really did not like where this was going.
He struggled against the ropes that binded him and against the hands that were forcing him down, and tried to ignore the way their chants made him feel like there were the worms wriggling under his skin and how it put pressure on his lungs that made it hard to breathe.
It was still hard to focus, to think. His head throbbed and seconds slipped his mind in bunches, but he knew he was in danger. Panic was gripping his fogged mind and he clumsily tried to tug on the ropes to free himself.
A familiar feeling of warm summer breeze brushed through his hair and Wind’s eyes widened, as he tried to jerk his head up and look for the source.
He only managed to turn his head a little against the grip someone had on his hair and catch the faintest glimpse of a slouched over silhouette. He was about to scream Hyrule’s name when a wave of energy slammed any air out of his lungs.
He could not breathe. It felt better than whatever the cultists were doing but the overwhelming pressure was still bringing tears to his eyes and putting soreness into his limbs. It trashed and pushed from every direction, like hundreds of tiny punches showering his body.
The men that kidnapped them both tried to flee from the cave, pushing each other out of the way, clambering in the narrow entrance and inevitably stopping each other from going anywhere.
The world stopped.
The pressure didn’t disappear, but it did stop moving, as if it was waiting for something.
Wind tipped his head to look for where Hyrule should be and he saw the teen standing up with a grim expression on his face and a one hand outstretched before him. Magic around him condensed so much it became visible, lightning up his form and the area closest to him with greenish light. From where Wind laid he could see the angry swelling and mangeling of his wrist, the skin already shining with discharge flowing from the terrible burns.
Hyrule raised his hand…
…and all hell broke loose.

Zelda already saw him talk to every animal he came across with a high pitched baby voice and that one time he fell out of a canoe because he fell asleep sitting up and every other thing. its too late.
could be a stand alone comic or be a sequel to this

Chapter 10: 12. Used as practise + 25. Bound and gagged [Wind and Hyrule] (part 1)
Word count: 1893
First || << Previous || Next >>
----------------
The first (last?) two parter of this febuwhump!
This is another instance where I had a scene similar to this in mind for a long time, and the febuwhump prompts just nicely slotted into place with only few tweaks.
Hope you'll enjoy! :D
---------------
“Drop the sword or the kid will get it.” The cultist spat, pulling his knife dangerously close to Wind's throat. He pushed just enough to draw blood and Hyrule’s heart skipped a beat.
It’s a trick. They would not let Wind go, they would still hurt him, most likely kill him as soon as Hyrule’s means of escape were cut off.
But what other choice did he have?
He looked at the group of men before him with burning hatred. They were not daring to surround him, too afraid to lose the cover of a human shield. They were holding Wind close, enveloping him in their aura, so if he targeted them, Hyrule’s spell would hit Sailor too. The knife held to his neck was sharp enough to only need one small twitch to sever the kid's artery, locking Hyrule in place with the implied threat. There was no way out of it without a sacrifice.
Wind himself was looking somewhere to his left with unfocused, glossed-over eyes, blood dripping from his hair from a nasty cut above his ear, standing only thanks to the cruel hands that were propping him up, awake but not conscious.
Hyrule didn’t want to give up. He was sick with himself that he was even debating it, yet still he was holding his Magic Sword with a white knuckled grip and didn’t want to let go.
No, not exactly. He did. It was the one thing he desperately wanted to do right now, if it meant Wind would survive even a second longer. But he couldn’t. There was no way in the world that he could, it would spell disaster for everything he knew. He had to think about the kingdom and its people. He had to think of the future of this era. He could not fall here. He had told the Chain that he would not hesitate to make sacrifices like that… That if the push would come to shove he would have to make the selfish choice, even if it burned him from inside out both from shame and the denial of his Spirit’s nature-
He couldn’t.

Chapter 9: 9. Necromancy [Dark Link]
Word count: 994
First || << Previous || Next >>
Inspiration: A Dark Among the Lights by @luckylectio
---------------
(The tumblr links are going to be the end of me, why did they stop working? T_T)
I am loosing steam, ngl.
But the chapter nine is here and that means we are half-way through! 🎉
This chapter is inspired by A Dark Among the Lights by LuckyLectio. I couldn't capture the snark and sarcasm of Dark, but considering the darker tone of this Febuwhump fic's chapter I think it's fine. Definitely give Lectio's fic a read it's absolutely fantastic.
Cw for torture! Enjoy! :D
-------------------
Demise was furious.
This era was perfect. So full of followers of its precious puppet, filled to the brim with potent dark magic ready to be used to burn away Hylia’s precious Light World, so perfect for its return. The timeline has shattered and while hope persisted in other branches, this one was dripping with despair and malice. Demise thrived in paradoxes, his very presence was able to break time and upset its flow, flipping off the Law of Nature.
End yet, its time was not arriving.
First it was that blasted princess, scraping by with her light magic, gathering the Sages and sealing away Ganondorf (or was he going by Ganon now?) by a hair. It was fine, a minor setback, a welcomed one even.
Then it was that bloody kid. No matter how many times or how many monsters were thrown his way, somehow he persevered. Dark was summoned to fight him multiple times as well. He was killed by him multiple times. Each time he was more and more efficient. More sure of himself. More creative and resourceful. Dark would take his form and shiver, realising just how much during those brief periods in between the damned hero’s repertoire has expanded. So many new ways he could be killed.
He barely had time to pull himself together again before a sharp, unrefusable pull on his being was yanking him back. He was being summoned, killed and back to the burning pool of malice he went, desperately gathering pieces of his shapeless body to get back on his feet.
A useless tool is an unneeded tool. Dead servant is one that cannot be ordered around. When the summonings finally stopped, Demise showed him very profoundly how displeased he was with having him preoccupied with something that was not doing his bidding. If he at least succeeded in killing the hero, he could get away with just the usual suffering when he stumbled or didn’t catch his sharp tongue in time. As it was, he was a failure. And would be punished as one.
