every so often i remember that @destructivelynch and i decided to make mini dylans after seeing @mcdoessomething do the same and i ALSO every so often remember that my dylan is naked except for a pair of sneakers-

seething about the fact that i will never experience photosynthesis in my own useless cells. i bet it feels so good when the light of the sun both warms you and fuels you at the same time. a bone-deep satisfaction mixed with a heated sugar-rush and endless brightness. not that i would fucking know

When I was younger I didn’t really have a good vocabulary for feeling like I was neither gender or both genders in one person.

I did have a voracious reading appetite and good friends that would suggest books to me if they came across a character or character type that made them think of me.

I have no idea if this will reach a lot of people, but I would love to create a long list of books that helped you figure out how you felt about your gender or your lack of gender.

I will start!

Xenogenesis or Lilith’s Brood by Octavia E Butler was suggested to me for the ooloi

Imajica by Clive Barker was suggested to me for Pie o Pah

Both of these books are sexually spicy, and don’t really explore coming to terms with identity like some of the really amazing memoirs out there, but that was what helped me, the absolute acceptance that some beings are just different when it comes to gender.

OKAY FIGURED OUT WHAT IT WAS it's a mini mystery pack spiderman from itsv. you can't buy them directly from the funko pop website (booo) but there is still a slightly different version that's NOT a mini or a mystery on amazon

love how my two recently desired skills are plushie making and mask decorating JUST so i can 1) get a cute mutants plush going and 2) finally make dylan's mask. because i NEED to have a dylan cosplay asap.

i watched deadpool 2 in preparation of seeing deadpool & wolverine and i suddenly realized 1) i very much understood where dylan was coming from on like. everything. and 2) that it is incredibly funny to get into cute mutants first and THEN check out x-men adjacent things.
