The thing that I adore about the Disco Elysium fandom is that, despite not blocking or avoiding spoilers in any way, I have never once been spoiled on a single plot point of the game. I still have no idea who committed the central murder of the game, or even if we ever solve it.

I do, however, have a vast second-hand knowledge of Kim, his interests, his hobbies, his responses to Harry's shenanigans, and what dialogue options will produce which reactions. This game is not about solving a murder it is about becoming best friends with Kim Kitsuragi and that's how it should be.

Started playing disco elysium

im trying to draw vergil, but his hair is literally so difficult for me. Is it okay if you can show your process or some sort of guide to drawing his hair????

oof I get that, his hair is still pretty tricky for me but I'll try my best to explain how I draw it👍

In the left image is the basic shape of the hair. I also drew some strands in the middle of his hairline to help me figure out the volume. The hair folds up and then swoops back down, but when adding the lil hair spikes (middle image) I don't draw it going downwards so it has that stuck up look. Then I finish it by adding a few awry tufts of hair for dimension and hair strands to indicate the combed direction.

Front facing is harder for me to figure out but that's the basic shape I usually go with, just a big ol' triangle. Follow it for the hair spikes and then idk if it's noticable but I did adjust the sides to be a bit more inwards. I do a lot of adjusting for front angles 💀

A few notes: I make sure not to add too many spikes that are too close together. The hair also isn't so short like that.

So that's how I do it in my style. very simplified but I hope this still somewhat helped :) I also reference a buncha fanart (mostly farevalee9s) seeing other people's interpretations helps me get out of my head.
