Just finished reading Demon Nature. I LOVE your new take on how Inuyasha and Kagome met, and I can't wait for whenever the next chapter comes out (and thanks for not leaving it at a cliffhanger)! Your one-shot "Fine" was also an awesome story, I read it twice.

InuYasha being a father is probably one of the most wholesome things ever. You can see it in his expressions how much he loves his daughter.

My heart exploded at seeing them together. And I've had this warm fuzzy thought in my head since first seeing him with her and I think I have finally found the words to explain it.

Moroha is the first thing that is truly his.

What about Tessaiga? What about Kagome? Tessaiga was his fathers sword. His father created it. Then it was passed down to InuYasha. He made the sword his own, yes, he grew in power along with his sword until he had mastered it. Kagome is her own person. He didn't make her. They were born for each other, but that doesn't make her HIS. Much like Tessaiga he grew with her. Each making the other better and supporting one another.

I'm not saying Moroha is not her own person, because she is. But no matter what she does, where she goes, she is HIS. Our boy who literally had nothing, who worked hard for everything he gained, has something that is HIS.

He made her from scratch. Made all the better because he made her with Kagome. And he deserves it.

Our boy had nothing and now? He has Kagome who was born for him, and Moroha who was made from him.

Random pondering. Ever since I first started reading fanfiction (not going to get into how many years THAT has been) I've always read the term "miko" as "my-ko".

It wasn't until later on that after I'd studied Japanese that I realized it was "me-ko" and that I was mispronouncing it. Except I'd read it in my head for so long as "my-ko" that "me-ko" sounded off and always throws me out of the story when I try to read it that way.

Curious, are there any words or phrases that anyone started out reading wrong, but after finding out how it's actually supposed to be pronounced still continued to read it the incorrect way because it sounds better in your head?

So I did a thing. I'm completely obsessed with daddy InuYasha and I just know our boy would be just as dotting with Kagome during the pregnancy. That's what I'm blaming this on.

Don't worry. I'm still working on Demon Nature! Just had to get this headcanon out of my head to free up some space.
