I hate when someone goes from a same-sex relationship to dating someone of another gender and people go, "Oh they’re straight now" as if the only options are gay or straight? Have you bitches not heard of bisexuality?

If you think about it, the term Trans Exclusionary Radical Feminist is lowkey hilarious. Because how is it in any way radical to practice transphobia in an already transphobic society? Not to mention transphobia stems from patriarchy. So TERFs are literally glorifying patriarchy and still having the nerve to call themselves feminists. Clown shit.

What's special about Paris Paloma's "Labour" is that it's not just for women of a certain culture, class, or race. It speaks for women of all (patriarchal) societies. As a woman, you can relate to it whether you're rich, middle-class, or poor; whether you're white, brown, black, or any other color. It can remind you of Anne Boleyn, a literal Queen – just as much as it can remind you of your not-so-royal grandma who was married off at 13.

Late night rambling about a kids’ show.
I really love how they portray Olivia in Oggy & The Cockroaches. She isn’t just there to be a pretty eye-candy for the male characters to swoon over, but rather a character with a personality of her own. She isn’t perfect, and goes through difficult situations just like the male characters. The cockroaches mess with her the same way they mess with Oggy and Jack. And she isn't sexualized (before you try to tell me she's a cat, I'd like to remind you of those female cats Tom and that alley cat would fight over in Tom & Jerry).
What makes her stand out though is that she takes charge. Whenever she sees a problem, she steps up and leads the team towards a solution. For example: in one episode, Oggy, Jack, and Bob get turned into babies by an angry witch. Olivia literally comes forward to become their parent. She struggles to take care of three very chaotic kids but never quits on them, before finally travelling to the witch and convincing her to undo the curse. In this episode, she's shown as a very tired single mum with eye bags from exhaustion. They didn't even try to make her look pretty when she was having her morning coffee half-asleep. That was so real!
In another episode, the three male characters struggle with lice and she takes charge again to fix the problem. She stops them from fighting among themselves and finds a solution to the issue.
We see again and again in these episodes that she's a smart, independent character with leadership skills, not just Oggy's gf. And when she steps up, they all respect her, even the cockroaches. In my observation, Olivia actually commands respect with her don't-mess-with-me personality.
I'm aware these are a lot of words my grown ass is writing over a kids’ show. But I can’t help but admire how they gave her an actual strong personality, a life that doesn’t revolve around male characters, and the freedom to be just as silly and messy as the boys. That’s something I rarely saw in cartoons growing up, and I love it! They did something similar with Monica too in my opinion. Speaking of whom, I love the seemingly sisterly bond between her and Olivia.
Okay, end of essay.

We've had Pride & Prejudice & Zombies and that was so cool! Now we need Pride & Prejudice & Dinosaurs. And after that we need Pride & Prejudice & Ghosts. And then Pride & Prejudice & Murder Mystery.

Think I “understand” Interstellar less now than I did on my first watch. Probably because I’ve gotten smarter since.

I used to feel this way back when I was younger about being a girl. I wanted to be a boy, dress like boys, date girls, and do boy things. Idk if it was because I am trans (idk if I am) or just didn't like all the patriarchal limitations put on me as a girl.
Anyway, I like living as a woman now. I wouldn't mind living as a man either. I'm cool with whatever really.
Reminder that the "normal" cisgender male amount to fantasize about being a woman is never.

i think a lot of white queer/trans people need to hear that "breaking gender norms" isnt just wearing a dress while masc or dying your hair. its also unlearning the beauty standards that impose ideals of white beauty and attractiveness on non-white folks. yes you have a nose ring but i just heard you tell your black friend with meticulously cared for natural hair "you'd just look so nice with straight hair is all im saying..." why does your blog fetishizing i mean uh. appreciating trans women only feature skinny white women who pass. when societal gender norms are so inextricably tied to whiteness and emulating whiteness it is not enough to simply change your aesthetic. you need to defy the gender norms in your own head too.

If you want to stay away from someone but can't, here's a simple hack for you. Take that person's photo/video, one where their face is clearly visible, and watch it whenever you're in the toilet taking a dump. Do it for a while and the next time you see them irl, you'll have to run to the toilet, and thus, stay away from them.

Nobody told me Agatha Christie was lowkey hilarious though. I'm reading Murder on the Orient Express and Mrs. Hubbard's constant yapping about her daughter has me cracking up. 😭
