If you know Frank adventure you have a great childhood. Still can’t believe that I have played this type of game when I was young? Let me explain but first, let me introduce the game.

Frank Adventure, an RPG game that consists of four series created for Newgrounds by Mausland Entertainment. It tells a story of Frank that is trying to find photos for a magazine company called Boobs Illustrated. The game features various Digimon characters that can be seen in “Super Ski” played in a Gameboy interface and Spike from Cowboy Bebop.

The goal of the game is to earn money by selling cocaine and sell nude pictures of women on a magazine company. In order to get nude pictures from women, you need to find the cocaine by talking to people and playing games. There are moments where you have to call someone to buy cocaine.

I can’t believe that I played that game. I tried to play it again and it all makes sense now.

The pictures of women make sense now. I remember before the picture was just abstract I know its nude but I don’t understand them. I still enjoy playing the game. A different genre to play well a green-minded kind of way.

Tricky Game Ever

Tricky Test is definitely an IQ game to try for. Published by Orangenose Studio used in any android or apple devices. A puzzle game to confuse, prank and deceive players. It requires a clever and careful reading of questions.  Mostly suitable for older people or smart youngsters.  It consists of more than 100 puzzles that let the player interact with the screen, objects and mathematical equation. Most of the question are answered by common sense and some are logical.

The game consists of 5 hearts this means that you have 5 chances to answer the questions. For every wrong answer, it will automatically deduct one heart. The challenging part here is that if you lost 5 hearts you will be choosing either to return to the last five level or spend some coins to play that level.

You literally can’t get out of the game without losing one heart. You really have to think outside the box. I like the graphics of the game however the gameplay lacks honesty. For some reasons the answer for some questions are just not connecting to the questions. I get it because i used to play impossibile quiz where questions and answer are really out of this world. Overall, it is still quite a nice game. I would definitely play more of it.

HamsterBall

Hamsterball an action and racing game developed by Raptisoft Games in 2004 for Microsoft Windows. It was initially released in March 2010 on PlayStation 3. It can now be played on an android phone. A game is played by one or two players.

The game itself shows a hamster inside a ball running around a twisty maze. The maze is over an abyss like a literal maze for a hamster. The challenging part of the maze was avoid tripping or else you’ll fall into the bottomless pit. Every course has its obstacles with different challenges to face. Some of the tracks have its own unique loops and twists. Power-ups like point bonuses and extra time.  

The goal is easy the player must reach the finish line in the required time or else he will lose the game. if there are two players they must compete with each other and the first who reaches the finish line wins.

My verdict

For the graphics, a 3D representation caught my eye. The maze is quite extravagant that makes the game quite messy. However, the maze is still very adorable and full of cute obstacles. For the gameplay, it’s very challenging and the maneuvering style makes it even cooler. I got addicted to this game because of its cuteness and it’s all about racing which I love. The best part of this is the two players where you get to bond with your friends and siblings.

My Brute My Game

An auto-simulation game developed by Motion Twin. 

The game will give you a random avatar and ability. It’s up to you if you would like to customize it whether its gender, color, and face. There many types of ability and you can get those abilities if you won a fight. You are fortunate if the avatar that was given to you have a weapon or pet already.

There is no need for controls the game will play by itself. You have 6 chances to play and fight with different characters with the same level. When you won, an ability or weapon will be given to you. Also, either your agility, speed, strength and level will increase.

If your character is already strong enough you can join the tournament where you can fight with different strong players. This will take you many wins in order to play in a tournament.

An adorable and charming way to fight. What is interesting about this game is that its unique style of playing. Where you don’t have to press or any controls in attacking or defending your character. You will watch them fight with each other in the battle and anticipate who will win. A thrilling part of this is whenever your character is losing the battle you witness how it will die. Sometimes, the game will make you lose your hope when your character is losing the game and at some point, it will suddenly use its ability making you win the game like an underdog.

Crasher is one newcomer who is suitable for people to play. Since there are many additional features, the graphics doesn’t make player’s eyes tired and many more. As in the case of graphics, I think personally, to put forward Crasher game anime format, making it looks catchy than other RPG games.

The game crasher is not too large when viewed from its capacity as the type of games RPG compared to other RPG. The game only capacitates 29.21MB and the total size after patch is 200MB.

The game has 4 different characters or jobs. The Warrior with skill melee using the sword that had quite large attacks and defenses, the Archer which uses long range attacks using arrows and rely on speed, agility and accuracy, the Assassin that is armed with a dagger, dagger job itself is also included jobs with melee attacks but the difference is the warrior assassin uses his agility and his attacks rely on the ability of critical applications, and the Mage that uses a magic wand, this job is a job that is different from the others because the players rely on magic. And the attack on the job is mostly an attack AoE (area of effect).

The determination of the strength can be determined based on skills, items collected, and how the players play. There are many fashion battle between fellow players, or better known as PvP, so that presents many Crasher game modes, such as: 1 vs. 1, 3 vs 3, 5 vs 5, field PK, and the Arena, so who is the strongest in each the PvP mode, will occupy the position of the ranking of the best, it will be many rare items that will probably come.

Happy Wheels

A ragdoll physics-based platform where it replaces the traditional static death kind of animation. Developed and published by Fancy Force. A single player mode where it features several characters who use different vehicles such as bikes, wheelchair, motorcycle and a lot more. The characters also have special abilities like the speed of their vehicle (fast and slow) and it’s up to you if what kind of character do you prefer in playing each level.

The game is load of levels to play with different mission and challenges. Well, most of the games are difficult and tricky. The goal of the game is to collect all the coins and run across the finish line. Specifically, don’t let your player get killed by sharp and pointy objects.

A very brutal and fatal kind of game and it is very known for its graphic violence scenes. Its attention to detail when the characters hurt or die is quite impressive. Where blood splatter, loss of limbs and intestines scatters everywhere. What amazing about this is that you can continue to play the game even though you have broken or cut arms and legs. Only the game is over when you are entirely crashed.

An amazing feature of this game is the Level Builder where you can create your kind of game. This lets you show your creative side. Well, mostly it also shows how brutal you are in constructing a lethal game.

As a whole, the visual of the game is awesome and quality wise. Everything moves smoothly where it really follows the law physics (projectile, freefall). Levels are always updating. Even though the game doesn’t have a story behind it the important thing is it’s a very challenging, fun and gory kind of game to play.

Another game that shaped my childhood life.

It isn’t a mammal by the way. Not even Perry.

Created by Anthony Flack and developed by Squashy Software. A side-scrolling and shoot-em-up type of game. Where the visual is entirely made out of clay that makes it unique and colorful.

The story behind the Claymation

The big city of Colossatropolis has become overcrowded that they need space for their people. In able to expand their land they need to invade their neighbor Mungola for space and resources. Your mission is to defend your land Mungola from the invaders Colossatropolis with an antiquated spacecraft or called as F-27 platypus fleet.

Collect fruits for points, stars for power-ups and you are given four platypus lives.

A basic and simple game yet entertaining to play. How basic and simple is it? Platypus is played by one player or two players. The controls use mouse or arrow keys and left click for shooting but I preferred using mouse for easy maneuvering.

The entertaining part of this game is the spacecraft’s power-ups. A chance for your weapon to upgrade base from the star that you’ve caught. There are five power-ups that you can get by destroying the formation of your enemy. A wide shot for hitting multiple enemies, a sonic pulse that hits incoming projectiles formed by the enemies, a rapid shot that doubles your firepower, lightning gun that create a horizontal beam which destroys enemies on contact and rockets which very powerful for destroying six bosses.  

What about the challenge?

The enemies move in predictable patterns. Small spaceships are easily killed they don’t shoot but attack as a group, unlike the big ones that shoot and needs multiple shots to be killed. Big spaceships often surprise you from behind that makes the game more difficult.

The game has 5 levels each with 5 parts. Every end of each level is a boss that you need to face. It would be easy for you defeat the boss if you know its patterns and weaknesses. With the right power-up, you could kill the boss in no time.

All in all, the game’s graphics were colorful and attractive by its clay world. The background music and sounds were classic. An easy way to play with unique mechanics. A game that kills boredom. Where every game player needs to check out.

Run as fast as you can

Extreme Pamplona is a racing game sponsored by Rexona Men. Inspired by the festival Running of the Bulls in Pamplona, Spain. Where thousands of people celebrate and participate in the main event. Where a small group of cattle lead through the streets and must outrun by the runners. 

The game starts showing the different countries around Europe. Starting off with Spain, Holland, Switzerland, France, Germany, Sweden, England and Russia. Every country has its own unique style or interface and opponents.

For example, Spain the opponent is a chasing bull.

Another one in Germany where the opponent is a waitress holding two pitchers of beers.

The game objectives are to outrun the chasers and escape the country using arrow (move) and spacebar (jump) keys. Bonus, if you can beat your record. 

The game was a thrill. At first, the game was way too easy because of the way the maze is. the escape was just a one way road. Unlike from the proceeding countries where it gets a harder because you have to find the escape from top to bottom.

 It gets more challenging because you have to find a way to escape while running from the chaser. Sometimes while finding the way you will notice that you went from where you started and the worst is to get trap. 

A minimal and simple game to play yet you can’t get rid of your eyes in the game.

Cutest RPG ever!

Poptropica, indeed. If you are familiar with the series Diary of a Wimpy Kid. the author is also the creator of this game. 

Poptropica is an online role-playing game. The game target ages 6-15 years old. However, age is just a number. Person in any age can play this game. Poptropica is now available in mobile phones. However, I prefer using it on a desktop or laptop. It’s convenient and easy to use in the desktop, plus, you could see how your avatar’s eyes follows your mouse cursor.

The first thng to do is creating your avatar. Mine’s Speedy Dragon.

 There are over 35 islands to choose from and each with an unexpected story and suprising challenges. Including the wimpy kid and big nate.

The objectives of this game is to save each island with their specific problems. For example, the island 24 carrot is having an outbreak where carrots are vanishing.

and you have to find out the cause of this.

And if you have accomplished your mission you’ll be able to recieve a medallion.

The game is quite difficult, it needs a lot of thinking which makes a game more engaging. I finished the game, 24 Carrot, for about an hour because of going back and forth to places, finding a solution. This game need a lot of problem solving skills such as anaylzing the scenario properly.

Exploration at its finest. “Explore, collect and compete” that’s how it’s done.

I really love this type of game where adventures and missions are involve. It builds up your imagination and creativity. You could also interact with non-player characters.

I myself is a fan of traveling and Poptropica is the reason why I love to travel and explore. This game gave me an experience to travel to different destinations and learn some information about those places like the greek mythology and even on outerspace. 

If you want to challenge yourself then give Poptropica a try.

Orange is the new Black

Another childhood game called “Garfield’s Scary Scavenger Hunt”. This game is not suitable for the soft-hearted audience.

Well, this isn’t the cute one. Garfield’s Scary Scavenger Hunt is a spooky and mysterious game. 

In this game, you need to help Garfield find all the donuts and muffins on the list hidden in a haunted house. Don’t let Garfield get too scared or you will lose the game.

The game involves logical problems like opening the door by aligning the books in order. 

Another one is to find all the keys to open the doors and answer puzzles in order to get the donuts.

The game is difficult. It is because you have to be cautious on clicking. It doesn’t mean if a hand appears when hovering, it’s a clue. No, it’s not a clue, it may be something scary that may increase the scare-o-meter of Garfield. 

It’s a fulfillment when you finished this game because you’ve conquered your fear and also solved some mystery problems. 

Comparing this game when I was young it’s somewhat challenging and it’s more thrilling. My friends and I have to gather to solve these problems. Because The problems are tricky and hard.  Now that I have played this game again, I certainly understand the clues and puzzle out the problems in no time. 

When you’re a fan of logical, solving problems and spooky scenarios like I do. Better play this game and let’s see how far would you go.

Childhood Games

I don’t want to play and explore new games because I don’t want to get addicted to it. That is why I’ll be reacting to the games that I played when I was young.  Some of you might know the games I’ll be posting.

The first one in the list is GROW ISLAND!!!!

There are tons of series of grow games and Grow Island is the first grow game that I’ve played. This game is played by one player. The objectives: to grow the island in a harmonious way (traditional ending) or the extraterrestrial way (UFO ending) given the types of field and you have to choose the best order possible to maximize your growth. The resources are mechanical engineering (bolt), the civil engineering (axe), architecture (logs), aeronautics (steering wheel), environmental engineering (red smokestack), electrical engineering (battery), computer science (microchip) and applied chemistry (bunsen burner). If the right order is not accomplished neither of the endings will not be met. The results of this are rejection, deforestation, volcanic disaster and broken beakers. if the order is correct then either of the two endings will happen. 

This game is truly amazing, here you can see and know what fields are for and how they connect to each other. If one field is wrong all of it will be affected. That’s why deep logic and patience is needed in this game. 

This is definitely what kids would like to play. I tried to play this game again and until now I’m still loving it. All the memories came back. I wish I could turn back time when the only thing you stressed about was to finish the game. If your a kid or at least young at heart try to play this game and I bet you would love this game.
