Boo, rainworld jumpscare! I know it's been a while since I've posted any art of slugcats and while that's partially because I've been branching out, the big reason behind it is because I've been re-designing all my anthro slugcats. Anyway, little sneek peek for anthro Artificer's new design!

I would like to interrupt your regularly scheduled artfight posts that I usually at this time of year to present this.

Oh where to even begin with this one. I recently finished Beast Yeast chapters 7 and 8 and while me and a friend were discussing it I basically had a vision where the idea for this drawing flashed in my head. I thought it'd be really interesting to draw pre-corrupted shadow milk on the brink of corruption and my friend also said it'd look cool so I drew it to the best of my ability. I decided to add the eyes of the corrupted form looming in the background as a slight afterthought as well as the puppet strings. This is possibly the most intense shading I've ever done and my hands hurt so bad from drawing so long

Anyways I have not slept in almost 40 hours because of this. I will be back with more art soon. Goodnight.

Artfight week 1

Alright, it has been a week. I did the day 1 report but day 2 I was so sick I could hardly stay awake for more than a few minutes so obviously I didn't do anything that day and after that I just kinda fell out of the habit. BUT. Now I have returned.

Day 3: this collection of silly doodles for my friend _whats_up_bird_

Day 3: some practice for my neon pop sort of style with a character belonging to cocobunnie

Day 3: this revenge sketch for Thest4rqueen

Day 4: oh boy. This one. Last year I did what I've started calling the "worm explosion" and apparently I've decided to make it tradition. Here's the VERY long list of people who's characters are featured.

Day 4: Okay back to regular attacks now, thank goodness. This adorable character by Skark1x caught my eye so of course I had to draw her!

Day 5: This simpler attack on reauxpup. I was super sleepy and feeling really sick by I'm still happy with it

Day 5: This attack on luckyfox07. Look at me over here doing backgrounds instead of just random patterns! please be proud of me

Day 5: This attack on Meeksune that I am unreasonably proud of. Idk, I just really like the lineart or lack there of I guess

Day 6: I also drew Sleepless_Kiwi 's silly little guy, had a really fun time with the shading on this one!

Day 6: and finally to round up this first week of attacks I drew R1NSEANDREPEAT 's character! They were so fun to draw and adding the background texture was weirdly satisfying so I had a lot of fun with this one

There are no day 7 attacks because I am once again very sick and can't draw while my body is screaming for me to go to sleep and just get some rest

ALSO during this time I've received 9 attacks which is absolutely incredible! Thank you to everyone who has attacked me, I may be very sick at the moment but every time I see those amazing pieces it really does make me feel just a bit better.

hey heay haie haihai haiey hye hello I know I like bothering you. but uh. uhm. I finished Voyager!! so this is encouragement to go read it!!! its apparently about 8 hours according to wattpad and its 36 parts total and you're in the special thanks at the end ( that has spoilers ) n stuff so yeah. figured I should let you know

Ooh it's done?? Well I was planning on catching up on some sleep tonight but that can wait...

Seriously though, congrats on finally finishing it. 36 chapters is absolutely insane and thank you so much for putting me in the special thanks, I will probably cry with joy when I reach the end and see my name there.

Artfight 2025 day 1

Day one of artfight is officially over and I managed to get 4 attacks done today! Not as many as last year but I am very sick right now to be fair.

Attack 1: the first attack I did was for _whats_up_bird_ who is a close friend of mine who's doing their first year on artfight so I of course wanted to be the first to attack them!

Attack 2: My second attack was for Anover where I did a little icon of their fursona to the best of my ability

Attack 3: a chibi of DaFloof 's sona who is a tabby-tangle slime (always awesome to see a fellow slime rancher fan!)

Attack 4: my final attack of the day was against Lightwaever 's calico worm who I briefly thought was a very long cat, this this piece of art.

I also got 3 attacks today, thank you so much to everyone who attacked me!

There’s this local bookshop in my town that opened about a year ago now that I’ve been a regular at since opening day and today when I went there less than five seconds after walking inside the person working at the front desk quite literally threw a graphic novel about two sapphic women with an enemies to lovers plot set in a medieval world at me without even looking up from her computer and safe to say I’ve never felt so deeply understood in my entire life.
