2024 Postal Secret Gift Exchange

This is an event where fans can make art, fanfic, playlists, among other things to give to participants, like a digital Secret Santa. Tumblr users who participate are matched up with others based on what gift they want to get and are going to give to someone else.

The google form is at the end of this post.

Please reblog this post to let your fellow fans/followers know about this opportunity! And feel free to send any questions to my inbox, usually I’m available to respond right away.

Schedule 

Sign ups → November  24 - December 4 @ 8:30 PM PST

Matchups are sent to everybody via tumblr messages → December 5

Creation Period → December 5 - January 1

Final Deadline/Posting Gifts → January 1 - 4

Possible Questions

Who can participate?

Anyone with a tumblr account and a passion for Postal. Excluding TCC. This year the event is 18 and up. 

How does it work?

First you fill out the google form where you answer questions about what kind of gift you would like to receive and what you are willing to make for someone else. After sign-ups are submitted by December 4th, you’ll get a message in your tumblr conversations about who you’re making a gift for and instructions on how to post your gift. Then you have until January 1 to work on making your gift. Once you’re done and it’s the 1st through 4th, tag your recipient and use the hashtag #2024PostalGiftExchange.

What kind of gifts can I make?

Any form of art which can include visual art, fanfic, moodboards, stimboards, collages, etc. You can also make a playlist.

When do I have to post my gift?

It’s ideal that all gifts are posted around the same time which means that all gifts should be posted by the end of December/first week of January.

What if I can’t finish making my gift on time?

Please message me as soon as possible so I tell the recipient that their gift will be posted later than expected. If you can’t finish your gift whatsoever then message me and we’ll figure it out from there.

It’s past the deadline and I haven’t received my gift, what do I do?

I’ll message the other participant and if they don’t answer in a day or two, I’ll make the gift for you.
