WIP Wednesday ->

Dragonbeanz Coffee Shop is located close to West City University, in walking distance to several office buildings, meaning it’s frequented by students and workers both. It’s about fifteen seconds by air from Capsule Corp, and twenty minutes by bus. Vegeta knows that because, according to Bulma, it “would not be appropriate to fly to work. Take the bus like normal people”. Since when is he normal people?! He jumps out of the bus the moment the doors open, relieved to leave the suffocating air inside behind. There are too many people that wash themselves too rarely. His mood sours further when the coffee shop comes into sight. He’ll be dealing with people all fucking day, for a month. “Try this for a month at least, and then you can get another job. But you can’t quit on the first day just because you’re being a baby about something other people do their whole lives. I’m sure you can take this if they can.” Now, while there is nothing Vegeta can’t take, he’s not so stupid to fall for what Bulma is trying to do. No, he will not take this as a challenge. He will let everyone know how much he hates being in that coffee shop and he will get fired the very first day. Problem solved. The shop had been closed during his job interview the week before, but when Vegeta pushes the door open now he’s greeted by the smell of coffee and syrup, the sound of the doorbell and the unbearable upbeat music today’s youth seem to like. The pink and green interior design compared with the orange lights, probably intended to be warm, give the entire shop a sickly glow. Who thought this would be looking cute? “Hello and welcome! How can I help you?” the girl at the counter, probably not even twenty, greets him. She flashes a well-trained smile at him. Vegeta glares at her with his hands deep in the pockets of his leather jacket. “I’m supposed to work here.”
