I know we always talk about what it must be like for other trainers when this 11 year old rocks up with six poke balls and throws out a literal god, but consider: bringing God to the Pokemon vet.
I know, I know, Pokemon centers can heal Pokemon of any and all ailments in seconds for free, but there have to be situations where the Pokemon center just doesn't cut it. What if your Pokemon develops an unhealthy fixation on Razz berries? What if your Pokemon is horny all the time? What if your Pokemon is Mr. Mime? I'm pretty sure the Pokemon center can't help with these conditions.
So then, what happens when an 11 year old walks into the PokeVet office bc their Solgaleo won't stop chewing on its own tail? What happens when their Rayquaza literally tied itself in a knot and the pokemon center's healing pod can't untangle it? What happens when their Palkia is constantly oozing water for no apparent reason? Are pokevets trained in the care and keeping of one-of-a-kind, never-before-captured Pokemon? If so, how? They're not like, say, bears or elephants, which are unusual for vets to see but at least possible to study. People weren't even sure this fucking Reshiram was real! And now you're telling me that every time it gets excited it uncontrollably farts fire? Oh, and don't even get me started on the kid that shows up with Mewtwo in their pocket bc it can't fall asleep but it doesn't have the Insomnia ability so there's no reason for it to be having trouble. You didn't know if God existed? This one literally isn't supposed to.
Brought to you by me looking at my paralyzed Rayquaza and going "I need to take him to the doctor"
#pokemon#pokémon#pokeblr#not really sure what else to add to this#pokemon irl#i guess?#rayquaza#did yall get that shiny rayq in scarvi? i love my boy hes the best#10/10 would die for him
