Chapter 2: Bound until death

After stealing the radar from capsule Corp, Wakana shortly found all the dragonballs. He then hid in the wastelands, the same place where the saiyans fought. He arranged the dragonballs in their usual formation.

“Shenron! Come forth and grant me my wish!” He shouted.

The sky turned pitch black, there was no light around for miles except for the dragonballs glowing, after five seconds of glowing bright yellow, shenron has been summoned in a beam of pure light, reaching out to the very heavens. And with a rumble, he spoke.

“I am the eternal dragon, shenron. I will grant you three wishes that are within my power. Thee who has summoned the eternal dragon, speak your first wish, now!”

“I only need one, Shenron! Bring back King Piccolo in both body and spirit!”

“Are you sure of this? The one called king piccolo is a being of pure evil, hate, and malice. He will surely lay waste to all things holy on this world.”

“I thought you could grant any wish, guess I thought too highly of you.”

Shenron snarled through his teeth and replied; “It shall be done, but be warned, he is not to be reckoned with…”

Shenron’s eyes started to glow red, and in a flash, the king stood in front of Wakana, with a crooked smile. He then let a chuckle slip through his lips, and another one, until he began to cackle like he had been so long ago.

“Yes, yes! The demon king lives once more!!”

Shenron stood impatiently, “ Any other wishes?”

King Piccolo turned to shenron, he then thought for a brief moment, he has two more wishes to use, he knew of the best way to use them.

“For the second wish, grant me the same strength as Son Goku!”

Shenron then began to grant his wish, a spiraling purple aura began to cover the king’s body, this was truly the power of the demon realm at hand, his muscles tensed up and grew swollen, every vein in his body began to pulse with fresh blood once more. He was ready to reclaim this world.

“Now then, be off with you, that’ll be all.”

“Until we meet again.” Shenron replied. Then the beam of light retracted back into the dragonballs, and they began to fly up and scatter across the world. The once pitch black sky then faded away to reveal the sun. “Thank you, my child, my knight. Now I shall return your gratitude, come to me.” Wakana walked towards the king, and kneeled down at him. King Piccolo, placed his hand upon wakana’s head, and used his new found power to awaken the dormant power, and infuse him with demonic essence. Wakana then felt a large jolt of energy throughout his body, and into his very soul. His surprised expression then turned into one of emptiness, his vibrant, soulful red eyes turned empty and monochrome. His free will has been taken away, all resistance snuffed out, he was completely submissive to only the king, he would follow any request given, no matter how inane. And if he ever tried to rebel against his king, he would have his soul ripped away from him and turned into a lifeless husk. “Now then, rise, my brave knight, we’ve much work to do.” “You shall bathe in the blood of our enemies and spread my influence, all shall conform or die.” To be continued…

In his search for greater power, Wakana was contacted by the ghost of king piccolo, he sensed great power and malice in the young boy’s heart, “You seek true strength, I can help you to fulfill your wish. I can see it, your wrath, your malice, all residing inside of you as it has been for so long. You shall make a fine member of the demon clan.”

“W-what do you mean? As if you can help me!”

“Surely you jest, one does not take lightly my offers, aren’t you tired of being weak willed? I am but a kindred spirit, you seek power, I seek to be reborn.”
