psssst, new headcanon: Tolkien elves can literally feel starlight like we can feel sunlight. It's not warm though— it's cool and reassuring, and since there are so many stars, it feels like a soft brush on their skin.
It is no wonder, then, that they love stars the best.

Literally me writing Sight of Gold on Quotev🤣🤣🤣
writing lord of the rings fanfic is like. *has three versions of how an event goes* *goes into research tangent on folklore and anthropology* * cries about it* it’s what tolkien would have wanted.

Hide and seek ✨
I 've been doing this for so long…..
I tried to come up with the name of Aragorn's daughter, in theory it means "to see" and "the sun (sunlight)" if there are mistakes, I'm sorry, my English is even worse than my Elvish.
Thank you for paying attention to my work :3

got wine drunk and now I'm thinking about how Gimli showed Legolas the glittering caves, how it looked like stars under the earth, and how Lego showed him fangorn, a deep forest with thick canopies that probably enveloped them and shielded them from the sun, a cave of its own, and how they shared these amazing places with eachother and how they perfectly intertwined and how both places represent two worlds coming together, and now I'm crying
