Hii! For the “get to know the author” thing I’m curious about 11, 17 and 25 :))
Heyy and thanks for the ask!
11) what aspect of your writing do you think has most improved since you started writing?
Writing emotion probably. Before I didn't really focus that much on how characters act in a realistic way or the impact their feelings have on the reader. I would like to think that improved in my more recent works.
17) if you could give your fledgling author self any advice, what would it be?
Write for yourself. Write the story you wanted. Write until your hand aches. Write until there are no more words to say. When you are alone, the paper will listen.
25) copy/paste a few sentences or a short paragraph that you’re particularly proud of
"The battlefield was quiet. No more screams. Just painful silence. No response. No ‘I love you too’. No goodbye. Only silence and an empty vision laying at the feet of a flawed version of a god, colourless and ugly."
"But what other choice do fools have but to hope? Blinded by their devotion to archons, the only choice was to put all of their beliefs in divinity. Hidden behind the promise of a blessing, humans pray for better days, no matter if they only get lies in return. A mortal’s strength is insignificant compared to the sky. Therefore, they fall to their knees and give their hearts to Celestia.
No matter if they only get lies in return.
Perhaps humans merely want to be naive for an eternity.
Maybe they will be."

the unholy trinity of piss-poor caretakers, tag yourself:
tomboy, meaning "this child is clearly queer but let's hope it goes away"
sensitive, meaning "clearly neurodivergent and often distressed but let's keep going until they grow numb"
mature, meaning "traumatized but let's ignore that"
