Wow this is useful I use to use the Trader Joe stuff when I was younger.
And two popular brands that promised SPF 50 were actually only SPF 8.

True though I argue the main example of him being a racist is him doing everything possible to keep John Stewart down. Geoff strikes me as fine with POC characters as long as they stay in their place and don't challenge the white lead for dominance, popularity, etc...if they do well got to be destroyed.
Cass once vowed to and attempted to kill Deathstroke. She met Damien before her 52 reboot and looked after him and even saved him. Funny Cass has always believed people could change even people who killed or did terrible things. She fought them but never hated them. She had a sister who killed that she didn't hate. Maybe Cass fans should learn to be more like her and accept that she isn't filled with the hate they think she is.
As long as Jason doesn't change.
He's tried, and failed, several times already.
Which is why there is conflict inherent in their interactions.
It's not hate, true.
But it's sure as hell isn't tolerance or something she'd let slide.
Nor is it something she'd abide.
She'd work to stop them, convince them to stop.
So, as long as that's the status quo, it is logical for her to dunk on him pretty hard.
Continuously.

Star Wars SDCC Reaction I am going to go line by line down the defense of this artist and shred him. First, I find it hilarious he thinks the prominence of women, white women needs to be increased but sees no need for POC representation despite acknowledging it lacking in his opening I am not a racist defense. Second, I thought the main point about Rey was she is a random untied to the Skywalker Baggage. Yet the point of this poster is Skywalkers and yet Rey is not a Skywalker and to hear Reylos tell it that is a great thing. Third, I don’t know if he or the art company are racist. I think its pretty hard to argue though that given the treatment the POC have gotten under LF with KK in charge that she is not racist. George Lucas got raked over the coals for racist aliens (fairly if you ask me) that were based on stuff you see an Old Flash Gordon Serials. But at least he had the decency to make them non human looking Aliens doing the physical comic relief. Lando ran city in the 80s was the coolest cat around and took out the 2nd Death Star. Mace Windu was the 2nd highest position in the Jedi Order and took Darth Sidious the distance. Finn cannot beat TR-8R in a duel, first lead to every lose one on one to a nameless stromtrooper throughout history in all Star Wars media. You never saw Mace or Lando drinking from troughs with animals or walking around leaking water from their suits like a damn minstrel show. And George never baited and switched on a marketing campaign, Mace was shown with a lightsaber and was a Jedi unlike Finn. Poe at least got to take down Star Killer Base but boy was the TLJ a letdown as he trades lives without care and suddenly has a problem with female leadership. Lets get into character choice. PT: Palpatine is the main villain thus he should be up top to go with the other main villains. Qui-Gon had like no impact on Anakin, since he basically instantly died before he could really impact Anakin. If its about mentors then it should be Yoda here or Mace. Both had way larger impacts on Anakin falling then Qui-Gon. But mostly it should be fixed in keeping with the character limit by moving Palpatine up top and moving Anakin down to replace Qui-Gon. Also the theme is suppose to be one character per movie so even if I buy these characters choices Qui-Gon should be on the left, Kenobi center, and Padme right. But that doens’t work because and this will come up again who thinks Padme’s best stuff was in III? If it has to be these three characters then it should be Qui-Gon, Padme then Kenobi. Qui-Gon cause he dies in this in I so he has to be there. Padme eh it does have most of the senate stuff and you know she isn’t pathetically dying or enabling Anakin. Kenobi he duels Anakin on Mustafar. Under my system keeping the character limit Padme keeps the middle, Kenobi goes to the left for dueling Maul. Anakin goes to the right for obvious reasons. R2-D2 stays and Palpatine is up top with the Villains. OT: Seems fine really, I mean you could make the case for C-3PO to fit the droid theme. But Yoda does have to go somewhere. The rest are obvious although funny how when they are white the heroic trio all shows up. Although there is a reocurring issue why would anyone pick Episode VI for Han Solo? No Star Wars fan thinks Han got his best material in that movie, heck even Ford doesn’t think that. Honestly, Luke can be any of the movies. Han should definitely be IV or V and Leia should be IV or VI. Seems like these choices were only made to make Leia the center. But even then you put Han on the Left and Luke on the Right. But if it was me, Han is on the left his best stuff is in this movie like the iconic Han shot first. Luke is V this is after all the movie with a certain I am your father scene. Leia in VI this is one where she chokes out Jabba and you know the Resistance finally wins. ST: Luke and Leia mentors. I mean Leia at least mentors Poe mostly offscreen but Han is far more Rey’s mentor then Luke. Luke didn’t teach Rey anything. Not to mention if the goal is representing each movie in the series well Luke and Leia are already doing that for IV and V. No one else is double dipping. Also why is Leia the furthest representing the last movie in IX. I mean I doubt he started before Carrie Fisher sadly passed but Leia is not representing IX that is for sure. Honestly, I do Finn, Poe and Rey left to right since Poe was more plot relevant then Finn in TLJ while Finn was moreso in TFA and Rey can go anywhereas the main lead who again is not a Skywalker. But its not the artist fault that its called the Skywalker Sage when Rey is a Random. After all we all know KK and RJ think Kylo Ren is the main lead and protag anyway. He certainly drives the plot more then Rey.

Watched The Final Well gee talk about answering jack and shit...I mean thanks Pete but most of your questions that would be answered are irrelevant. Besides Keating winning her case but the main Wes/Laurel Related Plot Threads are still dangling. Hopefully Nate’s stolen files from Denver help. I still don’t know why Wes is Dead. And its been a full season. Now add Laurel’s Mother to the list of hanging plot threads. Laurel’s Father is in jail? Why the fuck is he in genpop? So Laurel’s Family is a mess but hey we got a new Young Black Male so Wes Fans should shutup I guess. Hello Bonnie’s Son.

Plus the difference is Teferi seems like the main character or at least main non gatewatch character. He has got the packs, the big poster and the planeswalker deck. He has gotten resparked, the Weatherlight is owned by Tolaria, and he has got the family now? That is alot of ground to cover in Dominaria as opposed to Chandra who is only tied to Jaya. Plus WOTC knows fans will riot if they bring Jaya back and dont give her a planeswalker card at all.
Why do you think Teferi gets a planeswalker deck as well as a card in the set proper, whilst Jaya doesn't? Is it because Jace just got a planeswalker deck in Ixalan (and would have got one otherwise)?
I think it’s more a matter of them wanted to have balanced decks and they probably picked he planeswalkers last. White Blue screams Teferi, and then Chandra is probably in the story and they wanted to fit her in.

You say that but its not like the Magic Story-line didn't involve killing characters during major conflicts to raise stakes. Heck I argue it was more Game of Thrones in the past after all even Urza died. So I think blaming it on Game of Thrones, is disingenuous to the extreme. I mean the end game against Yawgmoth resulted in all but 2 of the Nine Titans dying and most of the Weatherlight crew as well. Sealing the Time Rifts? Again more dead characters. More recently Venser Dead. Elspeth Dead. So MtG never had a problem killing major characters in the past but now the Gatewatch has unlimited plot armor.
The Gatewatch they go up against the Eldrazi and Bolas and lose not a single member. I can make a case for Bolas not killing most of the Gatewatch. Vess is obvious. Jace could be played on Ravnica since he is the guildpact. Nissa has a unique ability with her leyline stuff. After that though the case for keeping Gideon and especially Chandra around seems rather nonexistant to me. Gideon maybe cause Bolas proved his ability is useless and you want an idiot steering the enemy team as the leader. But what reason does Bolas have for keeping Chandra around?
That's one thing a lot of people hate, that winning over the Eldrazi was an "easy" victory, they were built up so much and so well in the first Zendikar block only to be turned into another generic villain to be killed in the BfZ block. And Hour of Devastation was barely even a setback, I think a lot of people were expecting half of them to die and the other half to be turned into Bolas thralls or at least one of them suffering from something that couldn't be cursed in one block.
They were built up so much and so well because you never actually saw them. It’s the Boba Fett effect, the moment you have to explain them they stop being cool. So the choice was either to literally never deal with them cause they’re too OP, or to make them more manageable. We still don’t know if there’s more to the story there, as Ugin flat out states.
Did you know that people don’t have to die for there to be stakes? There’s a really toxic attitude out there from grimdark fiction like Game of Thrones that is easily proven untrue by decades of genre literature never requiring it.

I don’t have a problem with Shuri being smart...I have a problem with them nerfing T’Challa’s Intelligence to boost Shuri. Cap, Stark, and Thor didn't lose anything to boost their supporting cast why should Black Panther be the exception? Him being a Super Genius is a core part of the character that looks to be underserved in this movie just so Shuri can have something to do.
What Fandom Racism Looks Like: The Smartest Girl in the World Has To Be A Mary Sue
On the first day of Black History Month, a random writer on Archive of Our Own gave to me… two separate stories that framed Shuri – T’challa’s brilliant baby sister in Black Panther – as a character that couldn’t possibly be as smart as the MCU claims and as a victim of child abuse by the Wakandan elite who are “taking advantage” of her brilliance.
These stories were written in response to Black people calling out the author’s racism in deeming Shuri a Mary Sue in Black Panther in a tumblr post (that used the Black Panther tag) and subsequently writing off the film.
I said I’d do my “What Fandom Racism Looks Like” series during the summer, but this “Shuri is a Mary Sue” nonsense has me heated and the vent video did not help. So I’ve started early.
This is a post about how one user calling Shuri a Mary Sue and all the support that they got for their racist stories doubling down on their take is emblematic of what fandom racism looks like.
If you got something out of this post and would like to help support a struggling freelancer, you can via: PayPal or Patreon! (I also have a support tweet that y’all can share!)

The problem is we don't have numbers. Ergo sure it looks like Lionheart was slaughtering a bunch of Huntsmen but without knowing how many Huntsmen are actually active in Mistral, this could simply be a surgical strike against possible Ozpin Supporters who are Friends or Acquaintances of Qrow. But without actual numbers its impossible to tell. What I dont get is why is school out for anyone...we just had a Kingdom Academy go down, massive grimm attacks across the world and plenty of dead huntsmen...this especially didnt make sense in Vol 4 when Ironwood did it. Lionheart is turncoat...but I cant see why Ironwood would sanction a normal summer vacation when he is locking down the kingdom and prepping for war... But yeah Ozpin got curtailed by his council often enough so it seems weird no one called Lionheart on his BS. Ironwood at least stacked the votes.
Also what kind of weird dystopia is going on that Huntsman started inexplicably dropping like flies all around Mistral but none of the remaining ones said “hey, something suspicious is going on” before they all hit the dirt? I understand fully that these people are warriors and warriors often don’t make it back home, but at no point did anyone realize the massive increase in MIAs and think to speak about it? Qrow figured out something unusual was going on in a DAY after it’d happened. You’re telling me no one noticed during? I don’t buy it

Perhaps Complex is the wrong word...its more Confusing.
But we have all read the Chinese Complaints and they are Cast isn't Hot Enough Compared To MCU, Fight Scenes Were Lame Compared to Wuxia and What You Get in Anime (High Standards for Sword Fights), Continuity Not User Friendly (They didn't get the old movies) and Plot was boring and confusing with the First Order not competent enough.
Short Answer: KK needs copy Feige’s Notes.
1) The First I am not really going to comment on if the actors are attractive enough too much but I would have to agree in general....Lupita you don't see and Oscar is the only one he pretty universally be considered super hot.
2) Hard to argue the fights aren't lame. Sorry Driver and Ridley just aren't that good and Boyega and Christie got nothing to work with since they got 30 seconds. The Force users didn't look Superhuman enough, I know they don't want to do Prequel twirling but times have changed and standards have gone up.
3) Hard to argue with this one but you cant really fix it super easily if you want to do Skywalker Saga Films this close to the OT.
4) The biggest sin is this...150 mins is long for an American Audience...its even worse for an audience who has to read subs. Beyond that it was boring for most of that time...reminds me of BvS too long without quality fight scenes.
The positive here is Disney cannot ignore RJ and KK failing to secure Chinese Box Office so even if the movie makes 1.3-1.4 Billion. This is a major strike that probably sinks RJ trilogy alone and weakens KK.
All the articles I've read on tlj underperforming in China bend over backwards trying to find an explanation that isn't "tlj sucks and Chinese people have standards". Like, they go 'Oh, Star Wars was never that big there! The OT never got a theatrical release!' but... tfa and ro both did, and got better results... if anything, tlj should have had more success, after them! They need better excuses (or to start MAYBE questioning why so many people didn't like it a bit more)
Also I’m sad about how articles even from usually good sites (eg Vox, which is the one I just read) pull the ‘fans just didn’t want complexity and new things!’ card while also criticizing Poe (“That f’ing guy”, “a 360-degree disaster”, blaming him for the near-destruction of the resistance…) and praising its feminist themes and how Poe should have listened to Holdo & Leia… (“Again and again, women try to set [Poe] straight, but he ignores or defies them”. UMM *white women) (½)
(2/2) … and just, completely missing the point! Like, in that article, Holdo & Leia creeping onto Poe is, apparently, “regarding Poe fondly” and Poe not facing the consequences. …I would also talk about Finn, but he was barely even mentioned (really goes to show how much he is the “male lead” under rian “kylo” johnson), and only in the context of “Finn and Rose […] played a direct role in the death of thousands of their fellow Rebels”. AND THE WRITER IS STILL NOT GETTING IT. smh …
These people are so far up Disney’s and Johnson’s asses that they can’t see or choose to ignore how awful and nonsensical the writing is, and how bad the movie is as a result. A 150 minute runtime for an action adventure flick is already quite a lot to ask of the audience, but to make it a rambling, meandering bore? Especially while opening in countries where you can’t rely on the SW brand to draw audiences? What level of entitlement does it take to think SW is owed viewers while putting out crappy and boring product, and that if people don’t see it in the projected numbers they’re in the wrong and don’t have the requisite intelligence to appreciate Johnson’s genius?
I’m also loving the way the white feminists are crawling out of the woodwork screaming about how revolutionary it is that white women are humiliating and brutalizing men of color in completely OOC and contrived scenarios. I see what their “feminism” is about and it ain’t pretty.

I am not sure but I am sure Emilia Clarke will be far more important then she has any right to be....by butting into Han and Lando and Han and Chewie...We dont need her but KK.
Solo: A Star Wars Story
Solo is set for release in May. Which means Disney’s latest two Star Wars films will be just six months apart, further exhausting the brand to the point where there will soon be nothing special about anything “Star Wars” that they dump into theaters.
Movies like this one are exciting because they give Disney/Lucasfilm/Knnedy the chance to destroy Star Wars’ past the same way they already destroyed Star Wars’ future!
Man, I can’t wait to see if they can retroactively wreck Han Solo’s entire character in his younger years.

I agree with you if we are talking about the fandom specifically yes they should no better but I think its quite clear that the books, comicbooks, and videogames dont matter at all.
can ppl like you stop acting like finn was just a janitor he literally wasn’t he was top of his class and well on his way to be an officer and only worked on sanitation bc that was part of his rotational as a cadet (like every cadet did it) so ofc he would be great at combat bc he was again top of his class

You can say that I agree but lets face it what is shown in the movies is not someone who has the top of their class in combat. The books don’t matter, heck I am not even sure RJ watched TFA or the OT. Finn got beat by Rey, got beat by TR-8R and beat Phasma cause she was looking the wrong direction. Beyond that while you could argue he showed impressive skills with blasters in TFA...RJ decided not to have him use a blaster at all in TLJ. So I can’t blame the audience forgetting the impression that he is not great at combat cause the movies have done nothing to dissuade that notion. Plus you know the scenes where he is most competent always seem to end up on the cutting room floor remarkable coincidence that is.
This is not to say racism doesn't play a roll at all.

I don't even understand why they do it. Books don’t trump the movies...the only way to fix this mess is to simply go full on elseworld where this sequel takes place outside the Prime Universe. They cant retcon the trilogy via a book. I mean they cant just say it was all a dream or some bs. And fixing the problems requires a whole lot of work.
myrish-lace-love replied to your link: “Crazy Rumor Says Disney Is Fixing Star Wars: The Last Jedi”:
Could there be a clearer indication of bad movie making? I need a compendium to understand it? Put it on the damn screen in the first place.
Brick Brain Johnson probably thinks it’s a sign of how endlessly deep his incredible unbelievable masterpiece is…

Yeah I can buy Leia in the since that she has had 30 years to pick up some tricks...so some shielding okay the problem for me is shielding after she takes some missiles to the face and then flying pack to a ship that should be moving at sublight speed....
Broom Boi is worse then Rey at least Rey didn't display anything beyond maybe precog before learning she had the Force even if she had rapid growth. Broom Boi though can already force pull with ease without even learning he has the Force.
And Rey simply doesn't have time to grow naturally due to being a true random so no special bloodline and/or previous training at an Academy. She needs to get to a certain point and RJ didn't want to time jump so she makes massive gains in no time at all...
seguun replied to your post: “alasseablack hat auf deinen Eintrag geantwortet “tenderstatue …”:
Meh its been awhile since I read Harry Potter but even Voldemort who was both a genius and immoral could only do scary party tricks mostly connected to talking to snakes with no Wand and no training. Under RJ there seems to be no training at all. I don’t mind random burst of power…the problem is Rey and Broom Boi showing tight control with little to no training whatsoever. The precision is the issue along with the power level.
Like for instance I wouldn’t have found it weird if the scary part of the “raw force power” had been sudden random outbursts, like making things explode in incredibly emotional moments. (ie. things I would’ve used for Rey vs Kylo fight, or for an actually impactful parentage reveal) but not the nonsense that is going on in this movie. Rey isn’t trained and she can do things that everybody, even Anakin, the child of the Force, required training to do. Same for Leia…even as Vader’s child it makes no sense for her to be able to do wild things we’ve never seen Jedi or Sith do. Like what was anybody ever trained for if things just work like this? And looking at how long it took Luke to master certain things in ANH even broomboy’s abilities are wild…
