how tf is a 24 year old going to play Sidney Prescott's child

Her daughters were in prams in Scream 5 and she was not pregnant during Scream 4 and I doubt she had a kid prior. So how tf is this gonna work when her kid won't even be above the age of either 5 or 14???

I get as if she and Mark had a kid prior to fourth and she hadn't mentioned it in her book for safety but surely there would've been small signs she's got more than Mark. Also this whole thing can just end up like Sam and Billy tbf.

But an easy way to solve it would've been to make her the babysitter or something otherwise it'd be guaranteed Neve would be in each film post scream 7 as I doubt Sidney would stand by while her kid gets butchered by Ghostface as the story that used to be Sidney's has now turned to her daughter's.

Also kind of a replacement for Sam as her storyline had never come to a real conclusion. There was no ugly side to the healing of scream 6 for her or Tara, of course there was the end where she decided to leave the mask but there's not much more to her story.

I get how it's a possibility as also the pram isn't specified as a singular as it's also hard to tell. And, Sidney says she just going on a run before dropping the girls off, signifying she just doesn't have one child.

Right, I know I said this but I'm not even reading Christine anymore. I've read Psycho and I'm almost done with The Mist, and I've began The Shining.

I think Buffy in Scary Movie was named after Cici Cooper in Scream 2 (a guest star appearance of Sarah Michelle Geller, who is known for playing Buffy Summers).

Right, so, I think Scream 7 is basically going to be like Wes Craven's New Nightmare where it's based in real life (like when Heather Lagenkamp played herself not Nancy, so Neve Campbell will play herself and not Sidney). I only think this because, one, I saw a rumour like a year ago about this, just after Scream 6 had been released. Two, the photo of Neve on set wearing the same outfit with the same hair like the first film (like when Heather's clothes suddenly changed into Nancy's pajamas). And, three, it'd be a good way to honour Wes Craven - just like how Wes in Scream 5 was named after him and "For Wes" was at the end of the film as well as the banner at Wes' memorial service at Amber's house in Scream 5.

In the original script of Scream 2, Hallie was supposed to be the killer before it was leaked and I believe it was changed to Mickey (or he was introduced solely for this) and not Nancy (as it'd be easiest).

Kirby was actually shown to be alive in Scream 5, though not having any speaking roles. When Richie was watching Stab videos on YouTube, there's a thumbnail to the right that Kirby is one, and the title for the video talks about how she's a massacre survivor.

In Scream 2 while Sidney's on her way to get Randy from his film class at the beginning of the movie, she passes someone wearing the exact outfit she wore in the original Scream (baggy jeans, grey jumper).

In season 2 episode 3 of Shining Vale, there's a big reference to Rosemary's Baby when Pat's dreaming (she has mousse that's been drugged by her neighbour and ends up being raped (?) by a demon while she's high).

Although in Pat's case it could just be a hallucination, I don't even know anymore.
