So, âThe Winchestersâ, eh?
Nice synopsis....
Trailerâs good....
I like that Deanâs narrating....
But, ugh. Looks like theyâre just gonna take a big steaming dump on canon.

Ugh where do I begin?!?! While the idea of anonymity is quite thrilling, if I say so myself, I believe you may just virtually whoop my ass if I took the fun way into saying heeeeyy I'm back and I missed the fuck out of you!!! BUUUTTT while I'm still "user unkown" let's see if you can figure it out. I took the liberty of searching my old username in your blog...good GOD I'm sounding like a psycho bitch đ...taking a not so little stroll down memory lane. So with that said I still believe the Scooby-Doo crossover episode was hijacked from us, Nash doesn't believe spn and Ghostbusters can crossover but gumbi is a possibility, and last but certainly not least snarkfarts come out of unicorn butts and a fancy squeezy thing đ
Jah love missed you, babe!
I read all of it over again and realized I HAD to do this. I lost all my info from my last blog, email and its password included and couldn't get back in so I was gone a lot longer than I meant to be. Then spn just fucking spiraled into an even bigger shitshow, I REALLY lost interest then, and until I got a new phone I was at least keeping tabs on everybody. Ya know, stalking in the shadows, making sure yall were still posting and breathing.
Annnyyywayyy yeah I just wanted to hop in and say hiiii!!
JAH-LOVE!!! I have missed you! Thank you so much for giving me a holler, I am so glad you are alive and well!!

Happy Birthday, Baby.
Hello, Iâm Gone
Status: Complete Word Count: 5.4K   Category: One-shot; Behind-the-scenes canon-compliant; Baby/The Impala; Choices; Personal growth; Heart-grabber; Life, love & family  Rating: Teen & Up Character(s): Reader/Female O.C.; Male & Female O.C.s; References to familiar people/places Pairing(s): N/A Warnings: Mild coarse language Authorâs Note(s): Post-story Overall Summary: Chuck told us a story about Babyâs early days. And we know how sheâs spent most of her life helping the Winchesters get to where they need to go. Hereâs a little of what happened in between.
The Lucchese brothers set out for America from Italy, climbed off a boat in Galveston, Texas in 1882. Enterprising fellows as they were, Sal and Joe already had a nice little thing going, a boot-making shop out at Fort Houston, over in San Antonio, by 1883. Sal was a nut for machinery, really turned his crank - any word he got about something that might rev things up, well, he wanted to be the first to try it. Â
The Luccheses became known for their hands-on approach, helped by those machines, sure, but only soâs they could give their work a boost. And they refused to cut corners, not even a little. The brothers believed that you should do things right, didnât matter how busy you got.
Right around the turn of the century, their boots were coming in at around ten bucks. By the early parts of the 1900s, they were around $40 a pop. Then came the Hollywood bandwagon, handfuls of actors showing up wearing the Italian-meets-Western creations as word spread - back in that day, couldnât just turn on a TV or expect to see âem plastered on billboards. Word of mouth and reputation go a hell of a long way.
The singer-songwriters and actual cowboy-types came along. And in the 60s, when style was starting to take a left turn, those boots were still hanging around. Hell, even the White House got in on the action - Iâd heard some of the Kennedys got measured and fitted. Johnson, too.
Which, you should. I did. It wasnât cheap, but worth it. You plan to surround yourself with something, day in and day out, you best make sure itâs a good fit. So I dished out some of the precious savings Iâd squirreled away and got two good fits. Just in case I needed to walk.Â
And I wouldâve walked, all the way, if Iâd had to. I had 'em for a year, good and broken-in, those dark cherry-red dreams that came almost to my knees. Short legs, short strides, but I was determined.
Theyâd turned into what I thought were the most important boots - maybe the most important things - in the world. They kept me going, just needed to glance down at them, like they were a talisman. If I believed in that sort of thing.Â
Still. Funny how things can do that for you, and the people around you canât. Wonât.

I know your on hiatus but i saw the post about the podcast and spn and i was wondering what you thought of the finale
Hoo-boy. Well, Iâll save full commentary because someoneâs asked regarding the @youtotallymadethatup episode, but the short version is...
We could debate over their choice of resolution, sure. Having said that, They ____ and go to ____! is pedestrian. Itâs unoriginal. Itâs lazy. Letâs go with it for argumentâs sake, though. Bottom line, if youâre gonna do something that drastic vs. a more open-ended with enough of a satisfactory conclusion kind of jam (see: Buffy the Vampire Slayer finale) or a veiled, let-the-viewer-fill-in-the-blanks wrap-up (see: The Sopranos finale, or the Angel finale), then do it well (see: Six Feet Under finale). And they didnât do it well.
Pandemic issues explain some logistics (such as casting and locale and set pieces, etc.) but not bizarre writing choices and - sweet babby jeebus - lousy hair/makeup effects, to name but just two things. If the virus wrecked what they originally had planned (which is my understanding), the answer is to scrap it, hustle up, and start again during the *months* they were graciously given by the network. You do what you can with what you have where you are, you donât stubbornly re-cobble what got destroyed into something thatâs passable instead of something thatâs close as you can possibly get to being worthy, something that at least conveys the utmost efforts were made even if the end result wasnât the ideal.
I was a guest on another podcast recently and the subject came up during our warm-up, matter of fact, and I advised the host and anyone in the chat who hadnât seen it to just stop with the penultimate episode - which would also be my advisement to anyone reading this who hasnât finished out the season.
In a nutshell: very sloppily and quite poorly executed.Â

When a TV series comes to a close, if the chosen endgame is to completely wipe the slate clean (writerâs prerogative, no matter how much we as the audience may hate it), thereâs more art to it than simply killing some off and doing rushed scenes of how the others lived afterwards. This is a big deal. It should be treated as such.
And the final 6 ½ minutes of the show âSix Feet Underâ is the master class.
From perspective to structure to pacing to song choice, these folks (particularly the writers) nailed it. Watch it. Itâs going to leave you with the feels, even if youâre just meeting these characters for the first time.
Context for those who need it: This family owns a mortuary, hence the show title and the gravemarker-esque name/date âcardsâ that are interspersed. This is Claire - she broke tradition to become a photographer, and now sheâs leaving home. If you note people that seem out-of-place in a given moment, such as the man jogging seen in the rearview mirror, these are characters who have already passed away prior. Because this family is always surrounded by the deaths of others, it is more fitting than for most shows that it ends with their deaths, true. But the point remains, if youâre going to kill your darling characters, do it with class and do it in a way that is satisfying and closes the book gracefully.

I've pondered a half-hour, and I'm still confused.
So was that the actual finale and then next week is.... what... what!? I mean, that was a wrap-up if ever I've seen one.
Like... what's coming? A glimpse into the probable future? Then it's an "every time we think we're out, they drag us back in" sorta jam, and then it's essentially them always on the hunt, but this time because they want to and not because they have to?
I'm spitballing, here.
Because I'm confused.
