time-honored tradition || eusine & morty.

The latest of Eusine’s journeys had taken him through the Sinnoh region for the last six months, driving him far from his makeshift home in Ecruteak City, Johto. It was a necessary evil, however, and one that Eusine’s nomadic soul accepted without hesitation. As he collected information on the lore of the legendaries in this region, he kept up communications with his good friend Morty via letters. Just like old times, the researcher had written in the very first one, continuing on to describe the things he’d seen thus far.

But all journeys came to an end, and this end was a particularly special one, as it was more than anything, the celebration of a new beginning. Eusine took a deep breath in as he walked through the main gate of Ecruteak City, a smile crawling onto his features as he took its familiar sights and scents in. In the distance, the Burned and Tin Towers could be seen, but they weren’t his first destination this time like they had been many other times.

Instead, the man made his way towards the Ecruteak Gym, his white cape billowing behind him, making his simple strides quite the show. And yet, most people in the city didn’t bother to turn their heads at him. They were used to his presence from all the time he spent here in the Burned Tower. He was referred to by many names, mostly insults, as many people found his passion to be rather silly. But he didn’t deter from his path.

In through the front doors of the gym, and immediately, Eusine was already speaking up.

“Morty! Morty! I know it’s been a terribly long time, but tomorrow is an incredibly important day and I’ve come to make sure everything is ready!” 

He tugged on his gloves as if punctuating his sentences with his actions. 

“The Tin Tower must be cleaned from top to bottom, the Burned Tower cleaned to the best ability possible whilst insuring its historical integrity! The bells must be polished! There is so much to do and yet where are you, Morty?!”

hello everyone! i just wanted to type up a quick intro since my about page ain't up yet and i haven't been in a group like this before! my name is izzy and i've mostly been doing pokemon rp on twitter but i wanted to try it out here! my previous experience rping on tumblr has been indie and mfrp, so this is my first time doing a single focus group like this. also my first time rping eusine though i also rp him at twitter this'll be my first time writing at length for him! right now i'm on a week long volunteering trip in arizona so i'll be scarce, but if you wanna start up a thread just im me or send me an ask!! thanks! _(:3 」∠)_
