I enjoy scrapbooking my important spiritual things. It's something l've been doing since the beginning of my spiritual journey, and I find it to be very helpful for grounding, connectedness, and reflection. I did these pages today for some of my favorite Bible verses.

I'm currently using a notebook I had custom-made on etsy. The cover is from a vintage book, and I purchased the dot grid paper I wanted the seller to use and had it shipped to her so that she could bind everything together for me.

I also did a spread for Psalm 91, but that turned out to be a huge scrapbooking misadventure lol

Sometimes I have to remind myself that imperfections add to the vibe and aesthetic of the notebook in the end. Alas, I'm an insufferable perfectionist. Le sigh 😕

I love my mutuals that have clearly done the nitty-gritty studying to be the kind of christian blogs they are. Their takes are great 10/10.

But I need my followers to know that my takes are 100% based on the Bible (and the historical context that goes along with that) and my own life experiences trying to see God in everyone/the ways God has talked to me.

Like I love that y’all can quote centuries old philosophers and monks. I, on the other hand, am gonna quote the homeless guy I met on the street because what he said about the prison system radically informed me how to love better.

Like babes I was just talking about how capitalism destroyed Christian tradition… why are we fighting?

Soooo, Christmas snuck up on me like a thief in the night. If Chrismas was my opp, I'd be rolled in Santa's blunt currently.

I'm shifting the cards of the day schedule to accommodate the holidays, and then I will take a break from MWF messages until the second week of January.

When I was new and unstudied in the esoteric arts, I excelled because of...I would say four things:

1) Intention

2) Intuition

3) A thirst for *correct* knowledge

4) A willingness to get my hands dirty and make my own products

I’m just going to say this, I’m actually pretty afraid if anyone thinks I am in the wrong in this, but many of you know that I am a huge advocate for Palestinians and for the cease-fire and the total liberation of the Middle East, however, many of y’all who voted third party, this was NOT THE ELECTION to vote for third party! I know that many of us want to dismantle the two party system and a free Palestine but this election was really important for many marginalized communities. I hope y’all know what this means for so many of us, for women, for people of color, for the lgbtq community, for immigrants!!! I am disappointed in many of you. BECAUSE many of those votes could have helped Kamala and yes I know the Democratic Party are hypocrites and very pro Israel. “ Kamala isn’t a perfect candidate either” YES WE KNOW and I will admit that however I had hopes that if Kamala Harris won that all of us would nonstop demand a ceasefire under her presidency. We had an opportunity to make a greater change under her. Now that Trump won how can we help Palestinians if we can’t even help ourselves under his regime?

Fight trump and the far right, ORGANIZE, PROTEST & STRIKE AGAINST THE WHOLE SYSTEM!

Remember to build community, support each other and look after each other 🫶

Today's message of the day is a bit of a warning against using drugs to achieve altered states of consciousness in attempts to have a spiritual experience. Not only can this be dangerous, but the things you experience are very likely to be hallucinations.

Allow me to be very clear: If you have to use drugs to induce what you think is a spiritual experience, then you aren't ready.

This is dangerous. It leaves you spiritually vulnerable, and depending on the drug used or amount taken, you could be at physical risk as well.

Today, I'm largely speaking of psilocybin or "magic mushrooms."

There are cultures in the world who know how to use this safely for spiritual experiences or ceremonies. We do not live in one of those cultures.

Most of us have never been taught proper processes and precautions.

If you decide to do this in the US, UK, Canada, or any similar place that does not typically have many shamans you can trust to safely guide you through this journey, I want you to understand the dangers you face.

Nothing you experience is real, and this unprotected state of altered consciousness leaves you vulnerable to meeting tricksters or being attached to by malevolent/parasitic entities that will follow you back into the waking world.

Using drugs to achieve spiritual experiences is dangerous. Period.

Including alcohol and cannabis.

Depending where you live, those things may be legal, and it can be safe to enter the spiritual realm. But proper safety precautions must be taken.

Anytime you open a portal, whether through divination or indulging in substances, you are putting yourself at risk.

And if you don't know what safety precautions to take, then you don't have any business doing it.

Today's message of the day is about how you're taking your education so seriously that you're beginning to resent it.

This could be any type of education; spirituality, college/trade school, etc.

If this sounds like you, keep reading.

Education is very serious, and depending on the type, paying close attention might be important because making mistakes could have terrible ramifications.

However, serious doesn't have to mean boring or a chore. There are ways to make any kind of learning fun if you try.

No matter how serious the subject of education is, you aren't going to learn anything or commit it to memory if you're studying begrudgingly.

It might be a good idea for you to Google fun/entertaining study tips. Maybe try studying with a friend.

Or, it could be the field of study you've chosen is simply not for you. lf you hate it already, how can you imagine committing a large portion of your life to this subject matter?

Maybe there's a different subspecialty you could pick up. Or maybe the whole thing isn't for you.

The important thing is that you enjoy what you're spending a lot of your time on. You don't deserve a miserable life.

Changing your mind isn't quitting. lt's doing what's best for yourself. You must be strong enough to make whatever change is necessary to make yourself happy.

Find some experienced friends and trusted mentors to help you learn the basics and get you going along your path.

Spiritual journeys are not easy. They're perilous and full of pitfalls. You will need your community around you to support you through this.

Be not afraid. You know that you've been chosen for this, and you wouldn't have been if your ancestors thought you couldn't handle it.
