Yeah, dude, I want universal health care, housing, food, and education even for the people I hate. Even for the people who are working to prevent that. Even for the worst people in the world. "Universal" means it's for everybody.

The US has something more than two dozen vacant homes for every unhoused person, we throw away more than enough food to feed every hungry person, and study after study shows that universal health care (and food, and housing, and education) would cost LESS than what we're doing now if taken all together. We spend more presenting folks from getting what they need than it would cost to just let them have it.

But it's gotta be for everyone.
