He nodded as he looked at the other. He was glad for how he was raised and for his family. It was a wild world to him that such a place was made. Who thought of it? They thought it was a good idea for the public to do. "That's cool for whoever thought of it first," he chuckled as he looked around the inside. "that's good. It is bad if they let it stay open if people got hit in the face with an axe," he said, making a face. @wesleyxjames
"Family is family, regardless of how they are related." He was lucky to be close to his blood relatives, at least Bridget and Quentin. They were really all he needed in life and he was appreciative to have been so welcomed into the Fontenelle family. Wesley raised his shoulders at the other, "I have no idea, but they've been fairly popular in the last few years." He told him, "I can't say I've heard of any major injuries or anything, they seem to keep a good grip on everything." @sebastianxthomas

He knew it was just him. He was the one who needed the noise; he was so used to it. The quiet would get to him, so he had to have some sort of noise, even as a kid. He had music playing as a kid, and now it was just city sounds since he was not in the city anymore. "Plesae do," he smiled for a moment. "I get that." he was raised the same, but with his schooling and work, he did learn to love a lot of food. "Even if so, you can find something that doesn't cost a ton. That can be your favorite thing," he smiled a moment. "I may cook fine dining, but I love good mac and cheese." Easy to make and cheap for all, he loved it. @anthonyxblake
Anthony had heard of such apps since his return. He'd tried a few out but ultimately went with the buzzing noise of a fan in the background. Everything else brought on too much stimulation for the man while he was trying to rest. Not that rest was coming easily to him, anyhow. "Thanks," he gave a nod of his head, "I'll let you know," though he didn't see himself getting much more into cooking anytime soon. "I'm not really a picky man," growing up in a military family and joining in the air force, he had to eat or else he'd end up starving. "never had the luxury." @sebastianxthomas

Sebastain chuckled "I mean I guess so." he thought it would be weird if he walked up to her in the woods to ask her out to dinner. "I mean even in the woods like we were?" he didn't think that was as normal. He thought making it a game out of it made it fun and like he was working to go out with her. "It did. I am glad for this." He wanted to make it work with her today. "It should be." Any good food place was a favorite of his. "I love all food, so this is great." Even if it wasn't his place or his food, he was down for it. @nazlixceyhan
"I mean, yes, is that not what normal adults do?" She mused to him, a raise of her brow to match the inquisitive nature of her tone. "It's twenty-twenty-four," she started, "meeting people in the so called wild is few and far between, it would have been refreshing. Not that it still didn't work out in your favor to some degree." She shrugged her shoulders once more. "I'm sure it will be delightful." @sebastianxthomas

He smirked a moment, he knew he was always a joker and loud, never one to be shy and quiet. But he knew it was who he was. "Sounds like fun," he smiled at her. "I just been getting into work, meeting people," he said with a wink. He had a lot of friends, even if some where just for the night. "But you did tell me you had a good time and met someone." he wasn't one to be too nosey on things; she would tell him if she wanted to. "I know the feeling, I mean, even if it was the place I work at folding causing my move... it was to be around my family." he had missed them. @scottyxthomas
"Yeah, I can see that," Scotty laughed with a shake of her head. "I'm doing well, I've been getting to spend time with Courntey and my roommate, Bridget," she offered to her brother, "I told you we actually met in Paris, right?" Scotty had done a lot more with Bridget than just meet her but she had yet to reveal anything of the nature to her family nor the people she was going to call friends in Kismet Harbor. "It honestly felt like the best time to leave and come be closer to everyone, I've been away for so long." Though she had her own reasons for that. @sebastianxthomas

He smiled at her for a moment, he wanted this to go well, he wanted to make sure she had a good time. "So you are saying I could of just asked you to dinner over faking losing a run?" he joked with a sly smile. "I just thought me walking up to you without knowing your name maybe a bit much" he chuckled. "I think it will for sure," he said as they sat down. "and next time, I can cook so it will be even better." Well, he hoped so. @nazlixceyhan
"I didn't think you did, it was a bold assumption on my part." One she could have made a fool of herself in doing so, "so I'm glad it worked out," she smiled softly at him. "Ah, a game out of it," she nodded her head, "I mean, I think asking is bold but the direct approach isn't always bad." Nazli told him, a shrug of her shoulders to follow. "Either way, I suppose it worked out in your favor, minus the whole cooking part." @sebastianxthomas

Today, Sebastain was off of work and taking Shiitake and Mushroom, his ferrets, for a walk. Yes, he was that extra of a guy that trained them to walk and had little jackets and shirts for them to wear. Since it was cold out and, thankfully, not raining right now, they both put on little sweaters. "Come on, you two" he smiled as they both hopped along after him down the path in the park. "Shiitake," he looked at his more brown ferret, who wanted to pull towards a tree while Mushroom was at his side, the white ferret. "You got your name for a reason," he teased Shiitake. "Shiitake, come on!" he said as the other, still on his lead, dunked into the brush.

He smirked. "Yep, and I just kept going with it," he joked. But no, he had done all the training over the years and made himself a great chef. "Many do try, but none can hold up and be the same." The state was so big and had so much to it, the same for the city. "Pfft, not at all, not like I love to show off that I lived there and work there," he said with a wink. "But yeah, it's been great, they are all very nice," he smiled at his sister. "But how are you doing" hoping she was doing well here. @scottyxthomas
"Ha," she rolled her eyes at Sebastian with his joke. "Yeah, I doubt most places really compare to New York, even if they try." Not that she thought Kismet Harbor was one of those places that was trying to be like New York. There was something just quaint enough about the new place she was living in. "Oh," she laughed, "someone's got that big New York ego, huh?" She joked in return, "I'm glad they're taking well to the new guy, not always so easy." @sebastianxthomas

He cook always, when he was working or not he wanted to do it. A place he felt so at home and could relax at. "I know, and it's sweet that you offered this," taking him out to a place to eat like this. " I really don't get taken out to eat much..." he admitted. Most who knew he cooked liked to let him cook or went to the place he worked at. She was cute, so he smiled at her. "You know, I did all that running thing to try and let you win so I could cook for you," he winked at her. "I didn't know how well asking you to just come over to my place would be if I didn't make a game out of it," he joked but meant it too. @nazlixceyhan
"Of course," she didn't intend to imply that it didn't make him happy. "But everyone deserves a break, whether you love it or not." She shrugged her shoulders with her words. "I'm not avoiding your cooking, if that's what you're trying to get at." Nazli gently teased, giving a roll of her eyes in response. "I was merely trying to be nice in not making you cook for me, but next time I'll avoid making that mistake." She joked with him, trying not to take his words for more than what they really were. @sebastianxthomas

New York was such a crazy place. He always lived deep into one of the cities, so there was always something going on, a lot of action and a lot of noise. To move across the country to a smaller town was a big change. He nodded. "I use this app on my phone that tracks city sounds; it's just too quiet at night." He laughed lightly. "But always ask if you need some cooking help " for whatever it was. "But is there a food you like to cook or just like to eat?" he asked he was always willing to help someone learn even with what they had. @anthonyxblake
"Yeah, it can be hard to adjust to a new place." Anthony used to think that it was but he moved frequently enough while in the air force that he simply got used to it. However, it was still taking time for him to adjust in Kismet Harbor. He was returning back to civilian life after quite some time and it was seemingly more difficult than all the combined times he moved before. "Yeah, somethin' like that," he chuckled. "That's good to know," he nodded his head, "I'll make sure to reach out to you if I need a good cut of meat." Though in an apartment, he'd be less likely to be able to fit it unless he was splitting it. Which, he could do with his brothers. @sebastianxthomas

Sebastain smiled "I know man" he wanted to help out, knowing he made money well enough he could. But at the same time he know knew Cohen and Courtney would not take anything from him or anyone. But they had place to live, they worked, had food on the table so Sebastain was fine with it. But he knew he was close now and able to help out of it they ever did need it. "It's weird for sure, but like most things, people can up the price to make it sound better than it is." But there were meats that did cost more for a reason. "Look, what is your price today?" he asked his brother-in-law. "I can pick out what we can get best for you" he still let Cohen pay but Sebastain could pick out what to get. So they had enough for both, which would be a good cut. "Always a good potato-based something," he smiled. "But maybe a good ganache or simple and classic baked is amazing too," he nodded. @cohenblake
"We're trying man." Cohen laughed, shaking his head as he looked at his brother-in-law. He knew - or well he hoped - that his and Courtney's family both knew that they loved each other more than anything and that they'd do literally anything they could for the other, but, that didn't seem to help the undeniable guilt that always consumed him when he felt he couldn't provide for her in the way a husband was supposed to. It was truly something he was working to fix, but sadly bills cost too much and even with both of them working, Cohen's job didn't pay as much as they needed. He felt like a failure, and he hoped that no one would ever judge him for what he couldn't do, but rather praise him for what he could. Listening to his brother in law talk, though, Cohen was beginning to learn that he didn't know the first thing about cuts of meat. Which would make sense, he was a bug exterminator not someone that worked at a meat market. He wasn't supposed to know which cuts of meat or which sections of the store had the best quality; he'd always just gone based on price. "Okay, well, that's good to know at least." he nodded, taking a look over the options he did have. It may not be a fifty dollar steak, but, he was hoping to at least make the best out of what he could manage to afford, and right now it was looking like one larger ten dollar steak they could cut in half. He didn't know much about round steak or if it was even good, but at least they could split it. "What do you think goes better with steak? Salad or potatoes?" he questioned. "Trying to steer away from our usual chicken nuggets or mac and cheese dinners." @sebastianxthomas

Sebastain nodded "Right? Mostly with meats you need cool slowly to make it good, quick heat makes it rough and dry out," and that was never good. "There is so much to it" he didn't know that at first, but now he knew it all did matter. "Now electric heat, propane, or wood-based...that's another story," he chuckled. If his birth parents were not close to his adopted, he didn't know what would of happened to him. "I just am glad to be here," he said, glad to be in this town now. @hazalxalpman
"Hm, that is interesting," she smiled at him. Hazal was familiar with baking temperatures and she had to assume it applied the same to cooking actual foods, but also, she didn't want to assume. The brunette had made far too many assumptions in her lifetime. "It sounds like you did," Hazal continued to smile at him. "Which is great." She knew that not everyone got so lucky themselves. @sebastianxthomas

He sighed, "I miss it already, but I know I just need time to settle down" and get used to a town moving slower than he was used to. He smiled at the others. "A good homemade burger always beats once at any fancy place," he smiled at the other. "So I am sure you make killer burgers." he smiled a moment. "I told Cohen this the other day. It's not always about the price of the meat; it's about the cut and where it's from. He smiled a moment. "Like you can get a good cut of meat from the right butcher and it can be just as amazing as something in a fancy steak house." he nodded "I mean I went to butchers in new york we bought for the restaurant.... and they sold to the public too" and the nearly the same price. @anthonyxblake
"No, doesn't seem to happen that way." Life certainly had no turned out the way that he had planned for it to. Though, when he looked back at the life prior, he wondered if that were not for the best. He was a horrid husband to Liliana and was genuinely not the best person he could have been. He wasn't now, either, but he was working to be a version of himself that he wouldn't regret being when he one day died. "Yeah, it's not a busy," he lived in New York a while, it was where he had met Liliana. "Oh, yeah," he nodded his head, "I'm sure it's a lot fancier than the burgers I've been making at home." Anthony was a simple man at the end of the day. @sebastianxthomas

He gave the other a smirk as he give up his being nice that seemed like flirting as he did with everyone he saw. "I got none by blood, but it's cool." he loved his family, and he was adopted into a lot. He has to look into it next time he visits. "Cool, man," he said, following the other. "Who would have thought of this?" he asked as he followed the other. "Tossing as at the wall and they serve beer and stuff?" it seemed like a bad idea, but in the end, it was a great one. @wesleyxjames
"My fianc茅e's family is all adopted as well, so I can understand to a degree." In Amayah's family, the only two related by blood were Carmen and Lexi but to them, that never mattered. They were a family like any other, if not closer than most families. "Yeah, I'm sure there are a few good ones in there." He smiled at the other, "It's just, uh, down the street." He told him, "it's pretty easy to get to." @sebastianxthomas

He shrugged. "Cooking makes me happy." Whether he was working or not, he really enjoyed it. He wanted to cook for her at some point. He smiled at her for a moment. "It's not bad at all, I mean, here and Rustica are both nicer places in town, but not the same." One was a steak house, and one was more seafood. He chuckled. "But I guess I will see once I get working here for a while." he smiled as they sat at the table. "And to see what you think of this place, then another time eat my cooking," he smiled at her from across the table. @nazlixceyhan
"I know," Nazli smiled at him, "I wasn't worried about that, but people deserve a night off even if you do enjoy doing it." The brunette chided him as she smiled, stepping into the building. "Of course," she fought a mild urge to roll her eyes at the other before nodding her head. "How was the competition?" She hummed, holding up two fingers to the hostess when they were asked how many. "Got your work cut out for you?" @sebastianxthomas
