It had been a normal day in the manor with the earl bossing Sebastian around all morning. He didn’t have time to himself until this moment. He found himself out in the garden petting a small black cat with orange eyes. It was times like this he really enjoyed his life.

“What lovely paw pads,” he murmurs squishing the center of the cat’s paw so that her claws come out. A smile plays across his lips as the cat purrs.

Ciel pulled Lizzie gently to him and stroked her cheek with his right hand and kissed her softly as his left hand continued to be laced with hers. Ciel realized that this was the first time that he had ever done this. Sure he had kissed Lizzie's cheek before but never had he kissed her lips. He found himself always wanting to but never actually doing so. He felt his cheeks grow hot but he ignored it. All he wanted to do was show Lizzie how much he really did love her besides it felt right that he should kiss the lady's lips after she said that she would be his.

"Lizzie, you have always been the one I wanted to end up with," Ciel whispered as he pressed his forehead against hers knowing the moment he spoke those words that they had been something he was afraid to say.

Ciel was afraid of the day that he would die and leave Lizzie behind. He feared that more than anything. But he knew that for now he could be at least allowed some happiness on this earth while he was still alive and had yet to achieve his revenge.

A proposal, a real proposal? Not just the agreement between their parents that the two were to get married, but a young man before her, asking for her hand in marriage? Elizabeth’s round emerald eyes flashed and glinted with a rush of emotions, tears forming as her cheeks flushed pink. Clasping her hands together in front of her chest, she nodded slowly, the tears spilling over and slowly falling down her porcelain cheeks. “Y-yes,” she choked out, so rooted in place with her concrete emotions, “Yes, I will marry you, Ciel Phantomhive!”

"Yes, Lizzie, you make me very happy," Ciel said gently raising her hand to his mouth and kissing it softly as a blush spread across his face, "I know I don't say it often...but I love you."

Ciel was not used to admitting how much he loved Lizzie or how happy she made him. It did rather fluster him a bit that he was admitting it now. He had rather hoped that he would be able to keep from getting so but the way Lizzie was looking back at him, he couldn't help it. This was the woman he loved with all his heart no matter how annoying she might get.

"I want to spend the rest of my life with you by my side my dear lady. There is no other I would dare ask to be the Lady Phantomhive besides you. I do hope this life will suit you," Ciel said finding his confidence and composer again.

Ciel felt rather ridiculous down on one knee but he knew that he must do this if he were going to be with the one that he loved most in this world. Lizzie looked so precious to him when she blushed. That was really one of the things that he loved most about her besides the fact that she was a very strong woman who was deserving of being his wife. This marriage may have been arranged but that didn't mean anything to this blue eyed boy. What mattered is that he loved Lizzie and wanted to be with her for the rest of his days no matter how long or short they would end up being.

Ciel's  face light up with a bright smile as he heard her answer. He just couldn't help it. Lizzie had made him the happiest that he had ever felt in his life. "Elizabeth Ethel Cordelia Midford, you make me the happiest I have ever been," Ciel said as he got up from is knees and gently slipped the engagement ring on her delicate ring finger and then clasped her hand in his own, "I will try to always make you happy."

"You are welcome my young mistress," Sebastian said with a slight bow as he placed his hand over his heart, "If I couldn't make a decent tasting chicken for you, what kind of butler would I be? I am glad you remembered your manners. You know how important those are in society."

After his young mistress had finished eating, Sebastian started to clear the table of the plates. When he hear her speak of her guests that were to be coming over he smiled deeper. "I do remember your schedule well my young mistress. I will be very prepared and serve only the best dishes for your guests," Sebastian said like he was making a solemn vow.

"Do you think you will like this young man?" Sebastian asked out of curiosity knowing that she had never met him either, "I heard that there was some sort of arrangement for you to marry him awhile ago. That was set up by your parents. Do you believe that he will hold up that agreement?"

"Mmm," Sasha hummed as she placed a piece of chicken upon her tongue and ate it slowly, "Delicious. Thank you, Sebastian."

After a while, she finished her meal and looked over at her demon butler. “Friendly reminder, we’re having guests over tomorrow evening. Be prepared. The young man is one I haven’t met before, but I’ve heard he’s… difficult.”

"Manners are required if you want to be served well by them," Sebastian answered, "But I shall be right back with your supper madame. Please do try to be patient with me."

Sebastian scurried into the kitchen and prepared a delisious dinner for his young mistress. Upon coming out he served it to her,

"Is this satisfactory for you? My late master enjoyed his chicken prepared this way. So I am assuming that most humans like it."

"Since when did a butler require manners? Honestly, Sebastian." Sasha rolled her eyes, adjusting the lace on the hem of her sleeve, "Please get me something to eat. I’m starving.”

"How about a please, young mistress? If I didn't know better, I would say you had no manners at all," the demon replied.

"Now how do you know i was cheating?" He smirked.

"Oh really? Excuse me but who was able to have two souls at once?"
