ㅤHYUN YONGJIN impulsively ran away from home two years ago to pursue his dream of becoming a musician, away from his unsupportive parents who called him "insane." he majored in fine arts at britechester in hopes it'd give him a leg-up in the real world. however, falling down a mental health spiral and losing his part-time job due to tardiness, being a fine arts major cannot necessarily pay the bills. as a last ditch effort, he decides to find a roommate to lighten the load of on-campus housing expenses. yongjin never expected someone who was the complete opposite of him to apply.

ㅤAKIKO HIROSE, a fine arts freshman at britechester, had always been told by his late parents to follow his dreams. always having been an idealist, he decided to work towards a career in painting. fresh out of highschool, he also decided it'd be best to find affordable housing for the mean time. seeing a cheap roommate listing, he ignores the sketchy exterior of the house and applies. akiko then packs his bags and brings along his cat, mango, setting out for a new adventure.
