ITS HERE. Day 1 of my friend’s birthday week fic! I hope y’all like it.

M: What's the weirdest AU scenario you've ever come up with? Did it turn into a story?

Broooooo I have way too many that I love to think of but probably wouldn't write mostly because I doubt people would like it.

A few examples are:

Princess Mononoke AU with Alastor being San and Lucifer being Ashitaka.

Aristocats AU with cursed cat Alastor XD

The Great Mouse Detective (I am actually writing this one, my friend asked for it for her birthday so look out for that on Sunday)

Human Alastor and Naga Luci OR Naga Luci with Cervitaur Alastor

Human Alastor with a siren Luci (Luci's siren call doesn't really work on Alastor so they just like....end up chillin')

Technically the wild west AU is a little weird but I am owning it XD

sighhhhh don't judge me but....ghosts. Something angsty with Alastor being a spirit still stuck on the mortal plane and haunting Lucifer.

Luci as a Selkie, Al gives him his coat and Luci thinks its a marriage proposal.

Princess and the frog AU

Dungeons and Dragons AU (meaning it takes place in the DND world, like Waterdeep or something.)

Prisoners (they are literally both prisoners and plan an escape together)

Wooden Doll AU (I have seen similar AUs but it's Luci as a living puppet like Pinocchio)

Full on just bambi XD

This is one I think about more than any of the others but I am also shy...Hunchback of Notre Dame.....(Listen to Out There and think of a demonic Luci wanting to see the outside world mmkay XD *A lot of these themes are carrying over in ITD*)

J: What's your favorite fanfic trope? Have you written it?

Favorite trope is really hard, I do really enjoy a lot of them. Hurt/Comfort is my all time favorite (Which I write quite frequently.) I also love soulmates which I have also written. OH! Also rivals, friends to lovers ofc.

K: Do you have guilty pleasures in fic (reading or writing)?

Sigh, you're out for blood aintcha XD I feel guilty for most of the things I like reading XD To name a few, I LOVE anything with a possessive Alastor (or Luci, but with Al it is very tasty), I love most content of pregnant Luci (I am going to write this several times rapidly approaching so get ready), and for one last one, I am not too guilty about it but I LOVE me some monsters dude. Monster Al? Delicious. Monster Luci? Scrumptious (I have written monster luci and I have a lot more content coming up)

R: Which writers (fanfic or otherwise) do you consider the biggest influence on you and your writing?

I look to a lot of writers. I would consider Nukawin, Feylaa, PitFTW and Titanic_Trash big influences or at least I want to write as well as them someday, I am practicing! I also am an avid reader of Edgar Allen Poe and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (mostly Sherlock)

tricky words I always see misspelled in fics: a guide

Viscous/vicious – Viscous is generally used to describe the consistency of blood or other thick liquids. Vicious is used to describe something or someone who is violent. 

Piqued/Peaked/Peeked – To pique someone’s interest is to catch or tease their attention. When something peaks, it reaches its total height or intensity. To peek (at) something is to look briefly, or glance. 

Discrete/Discreet – this is a tough one. Discrete means to be separate, or distinct, i.e., two discrete theories. Conversely, when someone is discreet, they are being secretive or cautious to avoid attention. 

Segue/Segway – one is a transition between things, the other is a thing you can ride at the park and definitely fall off of.

Conscious/Conscience/Conscientious – to be conscious is to be awake, i.e., not unconscious, or to be aware of something. Your conscience is the little voice in your head telling you not to eat the entire pint of ice cream. Finally, to be conscientious is to be good, to do things thoroughly, to be ruled by an inner moral code.
