doing the opposite of infantilizing siffrin 2day by thinking about what alcohol he'd drink. i know textually they do vodka (and probably wine if we're carrying over the sap stuff)

but like. Bar drinks. mixed drinks. i think mx. siffrin "will eat whatever bonnie puts in front of them" no middlename no lastname will order the most insane drinks on the menu just to say they did. and odile and isabeau will look at him and go "is it good?" and they'll just smile and go "Not Even A Little Bit!"

i do think he'd legitimately like a white gilgamesh (two parts beer one part milk from a goat or of its ilk) but in vaugarde they would call it a "bright gilgamesh" send post

These were mostly ideas and hand warmups for an animation that fell through due to a key technical detail not being possible with my current skillset.

Mirabelle I drew while not looking at the screen, put through the usual Blender processes.

I've been working on perfecting the lighting method as there's been too many artifacts in my other works (along with general lighting issues).

#ISAT Siffrin #ISAT #ISAT Spoilers #TEoRttSA Spoilers #<<Schrano Art>>#Production Techniques not listed this time #They're the same as the previous ones #but better!#Practice makes perfect and all that.#General Production Comments:#Technically much more complex #Changed how the lights work from emissives to point lights.#Had a lot of fun with this one #Couldn't get the image of it out of my mind from the second I read the lines in the fic #Just sorta knew I had to make it real.#I really liked the idea of having the cracks physically manifest for a piece in the same pattern as the King's but more fragmented.#It was fun getting to draw Disguise 2 #I grayscaled actual leather as a colour base for the top.#The colours contrast pretty well in my opinion.#It's fun getting to draw Siffrin in different outfits than their cloak #And also provides me a nice challenge when he's all small like that in the center of the frame.#Not a lot of pixels to work with I'll say that much.#I can't say it enough #I really enjoyed working on this one #It was a blast.

One of many things that's always there, but you don't notice until you start trying to draw it. The stonework in the House of Change is covered in ovals. Particularly by the staircases. Even the areas where you see stars are filled with ovals.
