National Assessment Programme Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) is an assessment program designed to evaluate literacy and numeracy standards for all Australian students in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9. This test is usually conducted May each year.
Interestingly NAPLAN results appear to have become more important in recent times with some schools considering NAPLAN results when interviewing new students and some having based results attained to stream students in Math and English subjects
We aim to assist students in preparing for NAPLAN testing by teaching important literacy and numeracy skills by covering the essential curriculum; Therefore, ensuring your child is given the best possible opportunity to excel.
Our NAPLAN preparation programme revises the format and content of NAPLAN tests with the aim to help students gain the important skills required to better prepare them for the stress of testing. Our courses are designed to give the student the confidence and subject knowledge not just for the NAPLAN test itself but by also upskilling them in all areas of Math and English.

We are the specialists in GATE tutoring in Perth and have been tutoring and mentoring students in exam preparation since 2004. We have successfully helped many students with their entry into one of the local Selective High School Gifted and Talented Programs.
The Gifted and Talented Exam (GATE) more recently known as the Academic Selective Entrance Test (ASET) occurs in March each year. This Exam is used as a pathway into a Gifted and Talented Program in Year 7 at a Selective High School in Western Australia.
To gain one of these coveted positions in a Gifted and Talented program, your child will be required to sit the competitive GATE or ASET Exam which has four prerequisites parts being:
Reading Comprehension
Communicating Ideas In Writing
Quantitative Reasoning
Abstract Reasoning
Some tuition centres believe that the best approach to prepare for the GATE or ASET Exam is to give students lots of practice of question papers. We take a different approach, we only start with the practice exams after the students have acquired sufficient knowledge across the required content for this exam.
The Gifted and Talented Entrance Exam is designed to be highly challenging; it tests students not only on their knowledge, but also on their speed in answering the questions. The strategies we employ ensure that students acquire the knowledge and confidence that will be useful and foundational for their success.
The Gifted and Talented Programs are offered in 20 selective public secondary schools in Western Australia. These schools provide an enriched curriculum therefore giving your child the best opportunity at future academic success.
