Another Underground battle sprites, part 2.

In order: Ettablook and Chenara, Quanda, Freaky Mr. Fish (neutral final boss), Halnin Hopiful (pacifist final boss phase 1), Ultrannihilation Halnin (pacifist final boss phase 2), Unbroken Nisse (genocide-only boss), and Royal Redil (genocide final boss).

Chenara sorts some papers as Ettablook snoozes.

Quanda stands firm.

"I don't care WHAT I need to do. I'll flood the ENTIRE UNDERGROUND if I have to!"

Halnin glows with a strange power.

The whole world is ending.

The rivers around you are boiling.

He isn't invincible. Keep attacking.

Important lore/story stuff:

The soul effects are changed up and mixed around from Undertale. Jaydrin gives you a Purple soul, which has you move from box to box. Nisse gives you a Yellow soul, which lets you fire arrows, and you can charge a strong arrow. Ettablook and Chenara give you a Green soul, which gives you two shields, a solid shield in front and a ghostly shield in the back. The solid shield blocks normal bullets while the ghostly shield blocks ghostly bullets. Emmkay Ultra and Layla Ultra give you a Blue soul, which is affected by gravity. It can also dash straight upward once per jump, although the dash can be restored via cyan bullets.

The main character's actual name is Jordi. I've been using Carrie since you can't actually play through the game with the real name in the original Undertale. Carrie is the name of the very first fallen human.

The six human souls were hidden by Redil and Layla because someone was trying to steal them. Because of that, Mr. Fish isn't able to absorb them at the end of the Neutral route, leading to him freaking out and starting an underwater battle. He has more time to look while everyone is distracted at the end of the Pacifist route, so he finds them then.

The Gaster-like entity, the last living Demon, is what caused the first fallen human (Carrie) to sacrifice themself in an attempt to break the barrier with Halnin.

There's an item called the Savior Shell that saves the holder from one fatal hit. There are three of them in the underground. Layla has one that she found in the lab when she moved in, and you can get it during the Neutral or Pacifist routes right before the Emmkay Ultra fight. Nisse has one that he got from the third fallen human (after Carrie), and you get it in the True Pacifist route right after the date with Emmkay. Mr. Fish also has one that he found in the deepest parts of the Underground, and you get it toward the end of the Genocide route.

The fact that Nisse has a Savior Shell is important. It never comes up during the neutral route, but he brings it with him to fight you in the Genocide route, which is how he survives until the Unbroken Nisse fight, where he uses the Weapon and Armor he got from the third human.

Redil really is weaker than Jaydrin. That's why he uses the six human souls in the Royal Redil fight at the end of the Genocide route.

After the Jaydrin, Unbroken Nisse, and Layla Ultra bosses in the Genocide route, you get special armors. Jaydrin drops his crown, which decreases the attack power of all monsters who served Jaydrin when it's equipped. Nisse drops the Yellow Bandanna, which massively increases your defense, but also massively decreases your movement speed. Layla drops the Cyber Eyepatch, which decreases the defense of all technology-based enemies when it's equipped. Wearing it also lets you access the True Lab.

Upon judgement, Redil tells you about one of the six humans that fell after the death of the princess. If you've managed a pacifist run, he tells you about the first human, who tried to help the monsters but was eventually killed by the Rat King. If you've managed Genocide, he tells you about the third human, who was sent to kill the monsters. If you got neutral, he tells you about the second human, who started the town in Glacier Forest. If you only killed Nisse, he tells you about the fourth human, who managed to escape Nisse, but lost to Quanda. If you only killed Jaydrin, he tells you about the fifth human, who convinced Jaydrin that he was the one who was supposed to be king. If you only killed Emmkay, he tells you about the sixth human, who got Emmkay and Layla to work together to build Lava World. He never tells you about Carrie though.

After the Halnin battle, Ronin reveals that, through the strange quirks of succession to the throne, Jaydrin really is supposed to be king.

I've been playing around with the idea of a hard mode, started by talking to the Demon in the genocide route while using Jordi as your name. The final boss would probably be Carrie puppeted by the Demon.

The battle sprites themselves can't be used, but you can use these characters in text boxes and Overworld Mockups on the Demirramon website!

Unfortunately, I'm going to have to leave social media for quite a while, which means this won't get any updates for quite a while. I do plan to do more with this once I get back, whether it's continuing it as it is or creating something new with it. I don't want to just leave this as it is, so... here's the all the Battle Sprites I made for Another Underground, part 1 due to image limits.

In order: Mr. Fish, Pinnet, Ronin, Redil, Jaydrin, The Rat King, Nisse (armored and casual), Emmkay, Emmkay Ultra. I didn't make Layla and Layla Ultra battle sprites because I couldn't figure out how to draw her.
