Feniseca City
Thought I’d give a little info about Feniseca since it’s a major location of Interwoven.
Feniseca is a rather large city that falls under the “company town” type of location.
Feniseca is owned and managed by Iris Industries, with Shoko Apatura being the head of the company. The city is pretty much self sufficient with it being a hotspot for shopping due to all of the exports and goods the city creates in the various factories that are in the city.
The best way to describe the city is a more modern and slightly cleaner look to Kowloon Walled City. There’s also a large tower in the center where the offices for Iris Industries are held. There are many crowded buildings that can give a bit of a claustrophobic feeling to those not used to it. They also do a good job at hiding the ever growing frustrations some of the citizens have as any trouble makers get sent to lower levels of the factories. There are those in debt who hope to pay it off there as well.
There are whispers of a rebellion brewing, but people are trying to be as hush hush as possible. Genesis is one that claims she can free everyone, but not everyone is aware of her plans. Doloktros's amplifier was altered to work as an energy draining source to use his energy to power the city while he's hooked up to it. The people don't know what their source of energy is. Though there's been blackouts recently.. hm. To the average person, Shoko has a very good public image, though the further down the ladder you go, the more people are aggravated by her fake behavior.

Maaaan!!! I am looking for somewhere to spend my summer for next year. I heard about feniseca city , what can you tell me about it and its owner?
SO IT WAS YOU Feniseca City is funnnnnn! It's a large industrialized city that's run by Iris Industries, and its owner Shoko Apatura. The city originated as a "company town" and grew exponentially over years. It's a major hub for goods manufacturing and there's a lot of shopping centers and the like. Feniseca City is housed to a few tethers and vani which will cause some fun :} -Shoko is tethered to the electric vani, Doloktros -Shoko had managed to solve an energy crisis for the city by creating some sort of new generator -Said generator is a captured Doloktros being hooked up to a machine to drain him of energy -Shoko believes its what's best for the city and the wellbeing of the citizens -Shoko keeps up a rather positive public image as the corporate figurehead of Iris Industries and Feniseca City -Shoko's behaviors when talking to others feels very corporate and manufactured. It's practically baked into her personality -Those that are in debt to the city or Iris Industries work in the various factories throughout the city

ALRIGHT ALRIGHT. THESE LAST TWO WERE GOOD , But..What of marge? And hygruska? I heard marge was sure a normal woman!!
Marge is 100% totally normal woman! Absolutely!
Margaret and Hygruska show up in the story arc that focuses on the wax tether and vani (they have yet to be named) and they’re the overall threat to everyone involved.
-Margaret is 10000% the one pulling the strings between her and Hygruska, with him becoming more complacent over time do to legitimately fearing her
-Hygruska does however still aid Margaret despite his reservations. Though the two do have a similar mindset in terms of wanting to get rid of banetai that have found themselves on Earth
-Margaret doesn’t necessarily have an end goal or a reason for her actions. She’s just Like That, and that makes her all the more terrifying
-Out of the two of them, Hygruska is more likely to surrender and aid Penelope and co. His thoughts on the mercy mission are complicated, with him struggling to comprehend which side of the fight is “correct”.
-Margaret is very skilled with crafting makeshift flamethrowers
-Margaret’s secondary sembla IS fire :}
-Margaret’s monster form resembles a fox
-Hygruska prefers to stay out of everyone’s business and let things play out whenever he can. He’s often buried underground, with his horns usually sticking out above the ground.

How about some people you can talk about.... What about some Penelope and kemerodrym lore in these trying times?
Of course of course… The funky lads
I think the first “arc” of Interwoven is most likely focused on Penelope and how she got away from Kem, so I hope to iron that out at some point.
-Kem has issues when it comes to focusing on more then one thing at a time. This causes him to stay extremely focused on whatever task he has and he’s willing to do whatever he can to complete it.
-Kem’s mercy mission position is special ops! He goes around making sure the others are doing their job, and though he causes a lot of destruction in the process
-Kem does care about Penelope, but the way he expresses it is incredibly harmful for both of them. He’s incredibly honed in on needing to keep his tether safe, that he doesn’t realize the harm he’s doing in the process.
-Penelope feels smothered by how Kem treats her, and hated the fact she would be tossed around like a doll half the time
-Both Kemerodrym and Penelope have a tendency to focus their magic to boost their own physical strength rather then outright attacking with it.
-Penelope has some regret for killing Kem, but she doesn’t ever properly have time to think through those feelings. Though she flip flops between seeing him as the person he was and nothing but a killing machine. As time goes on, she does realize that he was incredibly troubled given the nature of the vani, but that doesn’t excuse his actions.
-It’s unclear when Penelope came into contact with a weapon that could harm/kill Kem (I’m piecing that together still lol), but he was entirely blindsided by the attack
-Prebrand Kem was a chef :}
-The two of them are very similar in a few ways and they both jump head first into a fight
-Penelope has extremely mixed feelings about her monster form as it reminds her of Kem
#Kenopsia#sb interwoven#vanishing world#Kemerodrym#Penelope#I love these two dearly ive had them for so long#fun fact Kem was originally a plume vani#he was inspired by The Mist

Sure is weird to fall in love with a vani like that!!
So about dunumbrax, what do you have in mind to share?
Some stuff I can’t quite share yet but there are a few fun facts 👀
-He primarily goes around as his puppet, Dante. His real body is usually somewhere nearby though.
-As Dante, he was hired by Ivor, Dell’s grandfather, to track Dell down and bring him back to the Verleur’s manor.
-He got a bit sidetracked with his task, and he ended up forming an unhealthy obsession with Dell.
-Unfortunately, even this was foiled as he was then thrust into airing Ukorgana against his will. Though Dunumbrax went mysteriously missing after Ukorgana’s capture (leaving only Dante behind. The party is unaware that Dante and Dunumbrax are one in the same for quite a while)
-He’s ekorian! And his initial mercy mission job was an assassin
-His grandfather, Solunax, is also on earth. Ivor is Solunax’s tether. Solunax has been there for quite a while and usually uses a puppet named Shelby. Dunumbrax tries to avoid his grandfather, but surprisingly they don’t have a bad relationship. The two of them seemed to have gained some semblance of “humanity” with extended usage of their puppets.
-He absolutely despises Penelope simply because she got in the way of him being near Dell
-He !! Technically has a human uncle!!! Shelby had a wife and ended up having a son named Terry.
-His views on the mercy mission get skewed over time, with most of his focus being on Dell. Weirdly enough, his feelings come with moments of clarity as well, as he uncharacteristically gets feelings of immense dread towards liking Dell. He can’t tell why he feels that from time to time. It doesn’t feel like he’s thinking it, but it is his own thoughts. 🤔
-He also doesn’t like to do much combat, rather he waits for the right moment to strike.
-Dante does have a voice synth claim, with it being the SynthV vocal Mo Chen
#Kenopsia#asks#vanishing world#sb interwoven#Dunumbrax#Dante#he is my horrible boy I love him dearly and I will also explode about him in due time#there IS a reason for the weirdness I swear

YOU. tell me more facts about the dell... I wish to know a lot about him
🫡 Yessir
There’s some stuff I can’t say about him quite yet since he plays a role in the stars below roleplay server, BUT I can share some stuff.
-He has a fraternal twin brother named Malcom (Mac for short), and a younger sister named Penny-Sondra. None of them get along lol
-Overall the Verleur family doesn’t really… get along. It’s a family riddled with generational problems. But more then anyone, Dell can’t stand his father, Ace. The two had always been at odds, and his treatment is what ultimately caused Dell to eventually run away.
-His family is rather wealthy, and this did help him in terms of getting his name out there when he started to write his own horror novels.
-Dell mostly writes his stories based off of things he sees in real life, but twists them to create some sort of monster or entity that’s the villain of the story. Some of them have unknowingly been about Dunumbrax / Dante (Shadow vani that has been stalking him)
-At one point he had a girlfriend named Melanie, but things didn’t work out. He felt she was too controlling over what he did.
-He absolutely loves anything sweet. He can and will be bribed easily if candy, cake, etc is involved. He cannot help himself. He HAS eaten sugar straight out of the bag before and has no shame about it.
-Out of the main party he gets along with Fjolla the best, and sees her as a younger sister. He can be a bit of a coward, but he’s willing to do what he can to make sure she’s safe.
-He was based off of the Vocaloid Megurine Luka!
-He was initially found by Penelope after she had dealt with Piper and Ukorgana (Sugar tether and vani) and he practically begged her to let him go with her
-He really isn’t much of a fighter, but he can offer support
-His were form has deer-like vibes to it :}
-He has very conflicting feelings towards Dunumbrax in a multitude of ways, and he’s not really sure why. It should be a cut and dry hatred due to the stalking and such, but sometimes he feels like his thoughts aren’t entirely his own… well.. they ARE, but it’s weird to suddenly fall in love with a vani like that isn’t it? 🤔
#Kenopsia#stars below#sb interwoven#interwoven#Dell#trust me I have SO many things I want to say about him#vaniwo#vanishing world#I’m gonna explode once I can give him his proper introduction#he’s become my favorite character overall I think#asks

Gonna try to make an overall post for the stuff this blog is about.
Interwoven is a fan project based on the Kenopsia Stars Below story by Juno.
Interwoven heavily focuses on a more negative side to humanity, showing what happens to those with immense greed and desires for power. There’s other themes in there to highlight the more negative side to humanity, as well as how these things affect those in the crossfire.
The characters in Interwoven are intertwined, with their stories ultimately relating back to the others as I have a tendency to gravitate towards “ambient” storytelling where events might happen during the same time as others in the same world, but might not affect certain characters just yet.

Fjolla is one of the main protagonists for Interwoven. Name: Fjolla Valo Age: unknown Pronouns: she/her Height: 5′4″ Voice synth reference: Aoki Lapis (Vocaloid) Tether to: Paharu Sembla: Light Secondary sembla bias: Thread (more info under the art!) Artwork by chorvaqueen!
Growing up in the small and quiet Paeonia City, her life was never too hectic. Paeonia City is nestled in a colder region, right beside the ocean. Her parents were fishermen, and she’d often accompany them. Her peaceful life was cut short when she had been found by Paharu, the light vani sent to earth for the genocide mission. Paharu had weaseled her way into Fjolla’s mind, making her trust her completely. This eventually led to the destruction of Paeonia, and the death of everyone that resided there. Before they could move on to a new area, the pair was captured by Freya and Halivital. While captured, various experiments were conducted, primarily on Paharu, forcing Fjolla to watch. Thankfully the two would be rescued by Penelope and Dell. Paharu would be sent to the Ark to be rehabilitated and treated for her injuries, and Fjolla would decide to join up with Penelope. She had grown an attachment to both Penelope and Dell, seeing them like older siblings. Fjolla has a hard time coming to terms with the large amount of deaths she had been responsible for, often feeling guilt and remorse, though she’s thankfully working towards bettering herself. The one that hits the hardest still is the death of her parents, which had been done by her hands, but she’s now using this second chance to prove that she can still make something good out of this horrible situation. Overall, Fjolla tries to be as upbeat as possible. She is very friendly towards mostly anyone she meets. Though she does have her moments of recalling past events, as mentioned above. She truly cares about people, and after being broken out of the mindset Paharu infected her with, she wants to show that side to her even more. She can be a bit scatterbrained though, and she is rather clumsy. ----- Her were form looks like a mashup between a rabbit and a ram. Her “fur” is blue, and she has long droopy ears. She also has horns similar to a ram’s. After her transformation she was hesitant to use any sort of magic due to the destruction she had caused while having the assistance of Paharu’s magic, and because of what she had seen happen during Freya’s experiments. Over time she came to terms with how she can use magic to help others however. She often mixes light with thread rather then just using one sembla over the other.

Penelope
Penelope is one of the main protagonists for Interwoven. Name: Penelope Dunst Age: 26 Pronouns: she/her Height: 5′3″ Voice synth reference: Rana (Vocaloid) Tether to: Kemerodrym Sembla: Fire (More info underneath picture) Artwork by chorvaqueen!
Penelope grew up in Nerium City, a rather crowded and bustling city. When she was younger she was known to get into fights and hang out with what most would consider the “bad crowd” of kids. Because of this, other people tended to avoid her as she was known to be ruthless with her fights. During one such fight her right eye was severely injured, but she tends to boast about how she won the fight and broke the other person’s arm. The injury in her eye has led to permanent eye damage, and she can’t really see out of it anymore. She had mellowed out as she got older, but her tough personality persisted. While she wouldn’t be an aggressor with fights, she still wouldn’t be afraid to stand her ground if needed. She tends to be rather blunt and often comes across as aloof. Over the years she had taken up a smoking habit, which had drawbacks to her physical health, most notably while she is physically strong, her stamina is incredibly low. During the initial start of the vani invasion, she had been forcefully dragged away by the massive fire vani, Kemerodrym. She was dragged from place to place as Kemerodrym insisted he was doing his job of keeping the others in check, yet all this would cause was destruction to everywhere they went. At some point, she had managed to acquire a vanium weapon from Kemerodrym, however, once the opportunity arose, she plunged it into his brand, killing him. From that moment on she had decided to take up hunting down the other vani, and wanted to kill them as well as their tethers. Somewhere along the road she came into contact with Jett, the leader of the militaristic group that was managing the Ark, a safe haven for those who were in attacked areas. While Penelope wanted to work alone, she ultimately decided to “team up” with Jett in order to get intel on where vani sightings and the like have occurred. To not make this super long, I’ll just add a few more notes instead. Dell was the first party member she had come across. After a fight with Piper and Ukorgana that ultimately led to their capture by the Ark (much to Penelope’s dismay), Dell, who had also been there, pleaded for his life and for Penelope to not kill him. While at the Ark, Dell would pester Penelope to the point where the two actually started to talk with one another. Dell then decided to travel alongside Penelope as he didn’t want to sit around and do nothing. Fjolla was the next party member they had come across. Freya, the toxin tether, had captured Fjolla and Paharu to do rather... inhumane experiments on them to further understand and “get control” over vani. While Freya and Halivital had escaped, Penelope and Dell managed to save Fjolla and Paharu. Penelope didn’t want to admit it at the time, but she had felt pity for what had happened to the two, and she didn’t even attempt to attack. Paharu had been sent back to the Ark, and Fjolla joined the two as she had grown a bit attached to Penelope. Vanessa was initially a foe, having led Penelope into “Wonderland” and leading her into a death trap set by Elaine, the glass tether. After the defeat of the Wonderland group, Vanessa decided to tag along, much to everyone’s dismay. The group was a bit...dysfunctional at times, but over time they grew close to one another and worked together quite well. ---- Much like Kemerodrym, Penelope doesn’t focus on outwardly using her magic, rather choosing to focus it in on herself to act as a buff of sorts. She had vanium brass knuckles fashioned for her, and while such a close range weapon is extremely dangerous, she insisted on having them made. She focuses her magic through the brass knuckles, sending flames or searing punches to her opponents. Penelope’s humon form resembles a strange beetle-like creature. Aside from her hair, the texture of her monster form is similar to hardened skin. She is a were, and is able to shift back and forth between forms.

Intro post of sorts, I don’t really know how to properly use tumblr lol
This is a sideblog for @megaupsilon for me to ramble about things for a fan project I’m working on
Interwoven primarily tackles the problems human greed and ego can cause when given immense power. My storytelling style is more ambient, and I enjoy when characters are all connected in some way. Because of that there’s quite a few tethers who end up quite literally being forced to work alongside various others.
I’m still in the process of making the characters and naming everyone, and I hope to make little videos in the future going through some character interactions since characters are going to have vocal synth voice claims.
Interwoven as a whole follows a group consisting of Penelope Dunst, Dell Verleur, Fjolla Valo, and Vanessa Southgate as they try to take down the vani threat to varying levels of success. Penelope is the head of the group and reluctantly works for Jett, the leader of a militaristic force that had begun to fight back against the vani. The organization is referred to as the Ark.
I’ll go more in depth of actual character bios when I get the chance I just wanted to get something out for now
