So my lamb didn't really grow up with a great idea of family. Just had the basic knowledge of two people who love each other, they get married and have babies. That's a family. But they didn't have a good example at the time.

So when the wedding ritual is introduced to them and they'd married off some couples, they wanted to know what the big deal was. So based on my actual first husband in the game, they picked a random follower to marry. Joobreno (rip I never brought him back). Marriage isn't so bad and it's a new form of affection for them so when they confide in TOWW, he responds with a God's perspective. Which kinda discourages them.

Many years after their 1st husband's passing, they give marriage another shot with a neat tiger, Hety, who actually courted them. He's very affectionate and passionate.

Which the lamb learns they kinda like.

... but when their God finds out, he doesn't like him at all. His lamb was fine without a husband, and these mortals just weren't worthy of their hand! Think of the risks they take, being vulnerable and trusting such a simple mortal with their heart! Having the audacity to court them and act like some equal! And he is so clingy and annoying, they should sacrifice him actually-

since im on a roll about tragedies:

i am sick to death of fourth wall breaks that are funny. i want fourth wall breaks that make me want to cry.

give me hamlet looking up during his monologue to see the audience and plead with them for help. give me orpheus, on the road back up from the underworld begging us to make sure eurydice is there, to tell him she is safe. give me orpheus turning when the audience stays silent.

give me someone, bloody and full of tears monologuing to the camera when the narrative has wound itself so tight that they can't escape it anymore.

i want the tragedy to be the performance. i want the tragedy to be, truly, in the eyes of the beholder.
