The Travail characters have a hand in helping the Traveler, right. It's not a massive role in the respective region's arc, but they DO help. This obviously isn't a confirmed pattern by Hyv, but so far, Diluc, Ningguang, Ayaka, and Cyno have all had a role in solving their region's issue. So we can pretty safely assume that Fontaine and Natlan will have Lyney, Lynette, and Iansan assist us.

That also means that there's a high likelihood that Pulcinella will help us. From the lore crumbs we have we already know that he's not the most cruel of the Harbingers (also not the most hoped for by recruits and soldiers, as in Capitano's case but still). He recruited Childe into their ranks and more or less stuck his neck out for him. He even helps Childe's family out when Childe is out of the country.

This can either be taken as he's a deceptive snake and will go after Childe's family as an attempt to control him if Childe forgets his "place", or he's actually just genuinely a good person deep down and he'll decide later on that maybe what the Fatui are trying to achieve isn't the right thing. Or maybe they're going about it in a way that's going to doom them all.

Either way, I'm hopeful for a Pulcinella mole in the Fatui at some point. Like, why else would he be in the Travail teaser, right???

Edit: Forgot to mention that Pulcinella doesn't "hold onto things" when they're no longer of any use to him or if they aren't worth the effort. This can include squads of soldiers, like those in The Chasm. Still, he doesn't have an orphanage that grooms children into becoming those abandoned soldiers and he doesn't backhand random recruits just to see how their emotions are written on their faces. He's not like, the best (Capitano) and he's not the worst (Arlecchino, Scaramouche, maybe others) but he's in a realistic middle. Aka, a negotiable middle.

ive been thinking of the HoOD lore so much ever since it came out. it's so funny how dramatic his bias is. i cant believe they gave us a guy who smiles at grannies and babies and then slaps everyone else into oblivion if they breathe at him, he's the funniest character in genshin impact
