Special School for Autistic students
It is important to note that not all special schools have Autism classes or an emphasis on Autism. Depending on the needs of the child, a special needs school may be more suitable to provide the level of support required, so Special schools are opened for Autistic students to focus on their needs which go beyond the academic curriculum, such as emotional and behavior needs. Special Education is not something to be feared – it can bring children with Autism, who need this level of support, on a huge amount and enable them to do their best.
There is an advantage of special classes or Autism classes within a mainstream school are that the child with Autism still has the opportunity to interact with local children who do not have the condition.

Providing time to time Autism Therapy
Providing time to time autism therapy to the children is necessary. Children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) needs 15 to 25 hours of therapy each week. This includes time with parents and teachers, as well as time with therapists. Every child with ASD is different, so the number of therapy hours of every child is different from another. Santosh institute hires trained staff for providing Autism therapy to the special need children.
When a child is diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder, families face the next challenge: choosing treatments and therapies for their child. What are these treatments and therapies?
1. Occupational Therapy
2. Speech Therapy
3. ABA Therapy
4. Social Skills Classes
5. Hippotherapy
6. GFCF Diet
7. Psychiatrist/Psychologist sessions
8. Floor Time, RDI, PECs, Swimming, PRT

Special training of swimming for special kids
Swimming is a great sport and activity. It is an activity that benefits everyone! Swimming has a large number of benefits for all children, but learning to swim is particularly beneficial for children with special needs. Generally speaking, there are major goals for a swim program designed for special needs children:
1.     Boosting physical activity levels
2.     Developing self-confidence
3.     Teaching a life saving skill
4.     Want our children to be safe around water
Santoshcare Institute provides a special training of swimming for special kids.  Santoshcare has trained instructors who will provide training to special kids with full attention. Teaching swimming skills early in life can increase water danger awareness and help to prevent accidents. Tragically, drowning is the second leading cause of death for children with special needs. Swimming lessons help children with learning challenges in physical, social and emotional development. Swimming also promoted self-esteem, happiness and can lead to positive social outcomes. Teaching children to swim can mean the difference between life and death if they find themselves accidentally in the water.  It is the best way to protect your child.

Why Residential?
From last more than 15 years, I have been working with special children and I realized that there are lot of hormonal changes, Behavior issues and physical growth that is a roadblock for children above 14 years of age and it becomes not possible for parents to handle kids as they grow. Since not all families have the same needs, we are always geared to individual family needs by identifying the type of respite needed and matching the need to the services currently available, or using this information to develop services where none exist. Hence, Santosh Institute initiated a Residential school project for the differently abled children that started in 2011 from a small place of 3 room kitchen with just 2 kids. Today, in 2015 we have 20 children who are availing the Residential facility.

Needs of Therapy:
Therapies include a wide range of tools, services and teaching methods you may choose to use to help your child reach his or her potential. Therapy helps creating the bond between the parents and the children to understand each other well. It acts a bridge through which the communication and training starts.
