Could cetaceans be the closest thing to a mermaid? Part fish, part mammal. They're intelligent, seasoned. They can be in the water and breathe out of it. Also, their song is attractive, melodic and rhythmic. In this piece I worked with instruments from GarageBand, BBC OS Discovery from Spitfire Audio and a new one from Orchestral Tools, a set of instruments called Layers which was very interesting, as well as LABS from Spitfire Audio for underwater sounds and simulations of whale singing. Also some free whale, sea and underwater sounds. Hope you like it!
