I think it's a stupid decision because this bases age on how well they can control their powers, when clearly, in the show, having powers at all is a sign of age. Guilfi has no powers until the second to last episode, and he is clearly meant to be the youngest and most inexperienced, and while Jordi has the most control over his power and can hold it for however long he pleases, Thoren still has THREE powers. If we believe that powers come with age, using Guilfi as a reference, then Thoren HAS to be the oldest. Jordi also often seems to just forget about his power in situations of high stress, which may imply that he's still getting used to HAVING a power at all (or he has ADHD and just forgets when he's stressed, which I like to believe more. It could be both tbh). Of course she can't control her powers as well as Jordi, she has THREE to juggle while Jordi only has one. Having multiple powers probably costs Thoren a lot more energy than when she only had one and invisibility and flying seem to be the most taxing for her, while speaking with animals doesn't seem to be limited. I think Thoren's first power was speaking with animals, and invisibility and flying came later and because they seem to use up more energy, especially when she uses them together.

Tl:dr: I think Thoren is the oldest because she has the most powers, as the show itself implies that having powers at all is a sign of age because Guilfi, the definite youngest, has none.

I recognize that the council has made a decision, however, considering it's a stupid desicion I have elected to ignore it.

The first scene of the elves in "A Present For Santa" is so good I love it so much. Every detail just makes it better.
