Olly!

She loves hanging upside down from trees, like a baby bat! Even if she can't turn into one, Octavian still calls her his lil pup.

Olly can talk to the goose. It never explains why it hates her father.

She's got tiny fangs that poke out, and she looks so cute!

She loves cuddling with Nat in her more big doggy form, it's so fun to have someone her own age around the place.

Okay, so basically:

Tim's biological father is this really powerful demon dude that got kinda... imprisoned a while back.

He drove Tim's mom crazy, and left her pregnant and alone.

Tim was six when he met Leviathan, the literal demon embodiment of envy, who became sort of a second mother to the boy.

Then a fire started, his biological mom died, and Tim was all alone for three days.

Levi kinda kidnapped him??? I mean she saved him and adopted him, but... she definitely stole him from the crime scene at first.

He found out he was magic when he was like 12, and accidentally set a kitchen towel on fire.

general headcanons for Ciero? what powers does she have? - 🐀✨

Okay, so as I've said previously, Ciero has a mild telekinesis (as do Zephyr and Favio). However, she can also turn into two different forms.

One form that Ciero loves is her bat form. She turns into a Desert Long-Eared Bat, and looks very cute - especially when she flies with Patrick.

The other is a little canary. She can be a fluffy yellow bird and chirp sweetly.

Also, he can talk/communicate with dogs (and she will always remember Marty's last words to her: "I don't want to leave you alone").

Alright, so when Zephyr turns into a bat, he becomes a giant golden-crowned flying fox. They're the really big bats you see online. He's a big boy, and he looks spoopy, but the kids all know he's safe.

Very much the spoiling aunt type, still.

When she first got turned, it actually did emphasise a lot of her more... soft, feminine features, so it was basically a bit of a wakeup call for her.

Sometimes, when she's over at Eldritch Hall and hanging out with her Jack, she'll affectionately nibble on him (just a lil bite, nothing bad/turning). Its just how they show affection.

She's still married to Charles, still has her gaggle of offspring, still the main psychologist of Eldritch Hall. Not much about her is different...

Sometimes, if the kids don't feel comfortable talking to her in her human form, she'll turn into the dog form and let them sit with her like that.

She was turned when she was nine, after a client got too rough with her when she was still living in France/"working" (being abused) in a brothel.

like, my vampires can only eat a little normal human food, but have to rely on blood in order to stay alive. hell most of my vampires don’t really “eat” human food; they eat a tiny bite, swallow it, and pretend to chew

Most of the time, werewolves and vampires just eat like... normal human food, only with a bit more meat in their diet.

You can buy blood substitutes at stores in this world, for the vampire who wants all the benefits of drinking blood without any of the moral dilemma.

No vampire really hunts, since that's a bit outdated in the 21st century.

Werewolves however, sometimes do. Or rather they comb through their territory and... well, if one happens upon a deer, then...

what was Jack’s reaction to Jill being changed? does Jack want to join his sister in her vampirism, or stay fleshy and human? has it ever been brought up?

also, how did Jack find out that his husband and brothers were vampires? i like to imagine that they sat him down and told him, expecting him to freak out, and he just sits there stupidly calm and says like “Oh, I knew.” because his sister is a vampire and he knows and can see the hallmarks of the vampire from a mile away.

Jack was more... concerned about Jill being turned at first. He just wanted to make sure that his sister was alright/safe.

He and Zephyr have a deal: he's gonna live til fifty and be turned on their anniversary.

Zephyr was very upfront about being a vampire, and Jack thought it was very sexy (he likes it when his husband bites him lol).
